Hello! I've lived all over the world and worked with languages and language learning for over 20 years! Interested in learning English? Studying for the TOEFL or IELTS test? Or have always wanted to pick up French? Contact me!
I graduated from the University of New Hampshire where I received a degree in French after spending a year in Dijon, France. From 1999 - 20009 I taught English in Japan. After that I spent time working with business professionals in Singapore.
Since returning to the US, I have specialized in TOEFL test prep, but continue to teach business English and general ESL lessons.
Look forward to meeting you!

Matthew is a really good teacher! Thanks to him I've learnt some tips for sounding like a native speaker so I can speak english fluently now, and my writing skills also have improved a lot in a short period of time. Plus he is very nice!! :-)

Experience
Academic Trainer (ESL Teacher/Manager)
Jan, 1999 - Nov, 2008Nova (Japan)
I worked as an ESL teacher and Academic Manager for almost 10 years in Japan (one year in Thailand). I taught all levels, including TOEFL, TOEIC and children's lessons. I can still speaking Japanese... not quite as well. If any Japanese students would like to have the help of a Japanese speaking teacher, contact me. Of course, all students should contact me ;)
