Louis is a very patient instructor that paced his lessons according to my skill level and prior background knowledge (which wasn't much). I highly recommend Louis as an instructor. He was on-time for every session and provided notes before and after each lesson.

Mr. Stanley is a horrible teacher, I do not recommend him. I remember there was a field trip for ICT, and he was late to the field trip. When we arrived at the train, we were all late due to Mr. Stanley. We all had to go back to school while Mr. Stanley went home. He wasted the time of chaperones, us students, and the bus driver. This was very sad news, since I was expecting a nice field trip to the Tech museum. 

Louis is very patient and has a very approachable and relaxing demeanor with his instruction.

Louis took a very complicated subject, C++ Programming, and narrowed it down to the most basic elements necessary to understand the underlining principles.  He is especially good at maintaining focus and used every minute of our lessons to impart his knowledge so the time was used well and effectively.  He wasted no time, and his time is worth more than charged.  His written code and explanations were made available each and every lesson--a very large resource.  I took the full C++ course, am an adult learner, and an airline pilot.  I learned much from Louis' instruction.

I was completely confused on where to start on my pre-pre training project and Mr.Louis gave me the guidance I needed and helped me start on the project expeditiously.  Now, I feel more comfortable with Java and can move on to other assignments in the future. Thank you for the help.

I like that we have code we learned in class provided for later reference. Though I do wish there were a bit more live demonstrations of typing code in class instead of videos. But overall, its been a good experience.

Lessons are straightforward and easy to follow. A great place to start your programming journey or to enhance your coding skills. The lessons touch on real-world applications that will prove useful in software development.

Easy to follow lessons with real-world applications (something hard to find in many instructors) are what you're getting with this instructor. He really works to make sure his students succeed, and prepares them for what comes next (future classes, internships, jobs, etc.).

This instructor is patient, strict, and kind. I like how he takes the time to explain things to a person when they don't understand it.

A patient tutor who was able to explain things from basics very effectively using the online whiteboard. Nice.  It was almost like I am in a class watching a real session in progress though I am watching the tutoring lessons on my computer screen.

This instructor has a variety of programs and well explained instructions on how to approach each and every computer programming challenge. Learning with this instructor is easy as he is patient and understanding and I would recommend him to anyone who has the urge to learn computer programming.

I enjoyed this class very much! Even though it was an online setting, I didn't feel behind and I was able to get my questions answered. Homework is manageable and prepares you for test and quizzes.
