Hi! I'm Lauren! I'm a fun and energetic teacher who likes to see my students thrive! I have two master's degrees, one in clinical psychology and one in nursing. Teaching has always been a passion and has been a part of my life since 2009 when I first started teaching at a university. I teach both clinically and one on one in various subjects including English. I teach based on active learning and recall; the way you learned when you were a child. Flashcards and studying are important, but actually speaking the language and immersing in the language is more important. I like my students to experience the language not just "learn" it. At the university where I taught, I was consistently rated one of the school's favorite professors! For those in the medical field, I can also teach medical English, as I am also a nurse practitioner. Lets have fun while also learning!
