About Karen G.
I am a K-12 Visual Art Teacher, Certified in the State of Florida. I taught in an elementary school for 5 years before moving to teach internationally in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Many of my students ask me how I came to love art! So here is the story: When I was a kid my grandmother was an artist and I spent many days with her after school, and at the art studio she taught. She taught me many things, and I grew to love it my whole life... and now... I teach and make art!
I love teaching art, and love watching my students come up with their own style of art!
