My name is Kalin, and I specialize in documentary cinematography with extensive experience in directing, editing, sound recording, and working as a gaffer/lighting technician on narrative film sets. With six years of experience, I possess a deep technical and theoretical knowledge of filmmaking. Growing up in a family of educators, my passion for teaching rivals my love for film. I strive to empower and inspire my students through patience, thoroughness, and support. I hope my students walk away not only having learned what they sought to but also feeling empowered and inspired to work on their own projects. I am dedicated to understanding my students' educational goals and helping them grasp topics in ways that suit their unique approaches. Previously, I've taught private photography classes and coached colleagues in the field. Now, I am expanding my teaching avenues as a tutor and advisor. I can assist with media studies, provide in-depth knowledge about lighting for various types of films or videos, and offer professional advice on documentary filmmaking.
