English (ESL) with Jehanne E.

I am a native speaker of English who grew up in a bilingual, English and Spanish home. Most of my adult life has been dedicated to studying, speaking and experiencing language in its many forms. My studies in college focused primarily on cinema, photography, English, French and Russian. It was here that I developed working proficiency in French while living and working full-time in Los Angeles. During this time, I have interviewed in the French language and maintain a resume, cover letter and social media accounts in French and English. My passion for English and French is so broad, that it often leads me to seek out books and other research materials involving linguistics, dialects and expressions. That said, the heart of my lessons involve play, practical exercises, themes, repetition, pronunciation, and a bit of acting if students are so inclined. Most importantly, I'm focused on giving people support in the areas that they need. For example: business or technical language, phone and workplace etiquette, grammar, conversation, etc. I'm looking forward to meeting and helping you become a better English speaker!
