I LOVE teaching. I'm an award-winning artist and I've taught watercolor for 25+ years. I've taught students of all ages from the US & Italy. I've taught at Cleveland Botanical Garden, Missouri Botanical Garden, Illinois Central College, in churches, libraries, & at Harvard University Extension School, Cambridge, MA. We will paint what appeals to YOU. From oceans to flowers to abstracts to landscapes to seascapes, etc. We can focus on one technique that interests you. Or, we can cover "the basics." Some of my students are now professional artists & some have become art teachers. The materials can be simple. For watercolor painting, we'll use a couple of good quality brushes, about 8 paint colors, watercolor paper, water and a palette. Ta-Da! You’re ready to go. (I provide a detailed supply list for enrolled students.)

Jane is a wonderful teacher. She's funny, patient, kind, and supportive. She is very skilled at giving feedback that is developmentally appropriate and helpful. She's also an accomplished artist with a rich knowledge of art history, which she incorporates into her lessons when appropriate, and which I personally enjoy greatly.
Awesome!! I enjoyed the pace. Jane is very friendly and inspiring. Extreemly good teacher and explores the students needs and expectations to ensure you get a lot from the lesson. I would highly recommend!!
