I primarily work as a freelance video editor and VFX artist. I typically use the Adobe Creative Cloud for my professional work, though I have experience using a wide range of other softwares as a hobbyist.

I structure my courses to be accessible for students of every medium! Together, with input about your favorite types of media and long term goals, we will explore the art of animation!

I love the video arts, and I would love to help you or your child love them, too! From Video Editing for professionals to Animation for students, I know that I can help distill the important lessons through fun exercises, while avoiding all the fluff. While I have the professional knowledge to help adults early in the pursuit of their new hobby or career path, I also have experience teaching younger minds.

I am interested in each individual student's progress, and I make an extra effort to meet students at their skill level.

My daughter without hesitation said she liked the class and wants to continue. Jack communicates and is flexible and made onboarding easy. I'm so happy my daughter has an ally with her passion. Highly Recommend!

Jack has been helping me with Adobe Premiere as well as a bit of Blender. He is clearly passionate and knows his stuff. He takes my time seriously, and comes prepared for every lesson with a well structured, well paced learning experience! Highly recommend!

I wanted to learn 3D animation so Jack gave me a few online Blender classes over the pandemic. I'm only a hobbyist, but learning to 3D model and animate was easy. I'd take a class with Jack again!

I very much enjoyed Jack's energy and respect for the animation process. He was more than willing to help me issues I had in and outside of the class. His readings that he assignments were extremely informative and helpful. Very patient with me when I didn't get something right away, and walked me through the process to try and get things right. Helpful feedback and supported me when I took chances to do something different in class. Very supportive of my work not pertaining to class. An overall very positive experience and would absolute take another class taught by Jack.
