I am a fluent Spanish speaker. Spanish is my first language, and I began to learn English in Pre-K so I'm bilingual. I grew up reading and writing Spanish in my home so I was always completely immersed in both languages. I taught Spanish classes at my local library when I was in High School.

I have a degree in Spanish from Valparaiso University. My first job right out of college was as a Spanish teacher at a local private academy where I taught Spanish to JK-8th grade. I now work at a College where I have taught adult education classes in Spanish to native speakers.

Learning Spanish with me would give you access to a wealth of knowledge a clear understanding of the transition of one language to the other. Also, I like to be innovative with the way I teach the language. I feel that sometimes the traditional method of learning a language does not always work for everyone.
