English (ESL) with Haley M.

I am a university student with a love of teaching and helping others. I received my ESL certification from the International TEFL Academy and I am a native English speaker. I have some knowledge of Spanish and can understand as a continuous student myself how scary and how much of a struggle it is to learn a new language. I use structured lessons and activities to teach my students all components of English in a fun, interactive, and self-paced way. I will cover reading, writing, speaking, and understanding through each individualized structured lesson. I prefer to take a fluency focussed route and let the grammar structures developed afterward similar to how a first language is learned but I am able to be as grammar focussed as you need. I can focus lessons on specific subjects such as preparing for international travel, business, casual communications, job interviews, immigration tests, and many others. I will also teach the simpler subjects such as colors, animals, places, food, and clothing. I can't wait to meet you and help you to grow in your English learning journey!
