I am college certified as a CAD Design Operator, and I've been using AutoCAD, in combination with Revit, for 4 years. CAD is an essential tool to anyone practicing architecture, or in related fields. You can create schedules, and work on floor plans and elevations much faster than by drafting by hand. As with other design software, you will need to learn how to use commands, layers, groups and how to import assets. CAD work is quite technical but that doesn't mean you can't have fun! The more you learn, the easier it'll be, and that is why I'm here!

professionals. I use CAD daily and I'm college certified as a CAD Design Operator. I use Revit, Fusion 360, Sketchup, Rhino, Enscape, Lumion, as well as Cura and Chitubox for 3D prints. Do not be intimidated by any of these programs, learning CAD is super fun and rewarding.
