About Gabriel G.
Gabe Gott lives in Akron, Ohio, with his wife, Sarah, the unwitting caretakers of a home for retired house pets. He was the March 2018 Akron Soul Train Fellow, during which he wrote the upcoming poetry chapbook, Idiot Parade (out May 12, 2018, on Gott Press). Gabe has degrees in English from Kent State University and The University of Akron and has taught writing as a Tutor, Teaching Assistant, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Akron, Stark State College, and Notre Dame College. During the day, he works as a team lead/trainer for a market intelligence company based out of Chicago, but he is also a semi-professional writer of fiction and poetry. He has published a short story collection, Tales from the Fringes (2013), a novel, Escapes (2014), two flash fiction chapbooks, The Ever-Present Moment (2016) and Dispatches from the Information Age (2017), and a poetry collection, Live Organ Transplants (2017). His writing has appeared The Cult Magazine, Misplaced Identity, Literally Literary, The Devil Strip, Insomnia & Obsession, Red Fez, Flash Fiction Magazine and 50-to-1.
