I’m Dina, a creative and NEVER BORING English teacher with a master’s degree and a teaching license from the NYC Board of Ed and I love teaching English online or in person if you're in NYC. Whether you want to improve your English skills, get help reading a book of your choice or prepare for a test, I can help you achieve your goals. I also work with people who have ADHD. I have a lot of experience and qualifications as a teacher. I also have a master’s degree in art history, a NYC Board of Education license for grades 1-8, and I started a career school. I’m very passionate about art and creativity, and I serve on the board of Artful Explorers, a nonprofit organization that promotes art education. I use my creativity to make my classes interesting and engaging. I customize my lessons to suit your needs and interests. For example, If there's a novel you need help to understand, we can read and discuss it. If you are looking for a job, we can practice mock interviews and work on your resume. If you are a kid who loves drawing, we can learn reading by writing words, sentences and stories and illustrating them. My main goal is to help you enjoy reading and speaking English, I always find articles and stories that are relevant and interesting to you, and we have lively discussions about them. I also encourage you to tell me about your hobbies, your dreams, and your reasons for learning. I want to make you feel comfortable and confident in your abilities. I ‘ve taught grades 2-8 in the NYC Board of Ed. I will tailor my lessons to your child’s interests and goals: reading, writing, speaking, or listening skills. I will teach your child how to find the main idea, express opinions, learn new vocabulary, and use correct grammar. Your child will also have fun with engaging activities and games.
