Beginner

Owner and lead photographer
Photographs weddings in primarily a photojournalistic style but also includes candids and formal portraits. Engagement photography is on location and guided but not overly posed.

Owner/Wedding/Engagement Photographer

First step in working with me is discussing the students expectations of what the class will provide them.  I can develop a very individualized curriculum and ensure the students investment is worth the time and effort.  This can be done via email/questionnaire before the first lesson.  My background is in fine arts achieving both a B.F.A. And M.F.A.  I have run a wedding photo business since 2009 but also worked for other photographer colleagues in covering sports photojournalism, school events, school portraits, sports portraits.  I have experience with working with real estate agents and documenting houses interior/exteriors.  I've recently taken on wildlife photography to provide me with subject matter for my fine art drawings.  I have a pretty well rounded skill base and can apply it to helping beginner photographers develop the tools to take on any subject matter they desire.  I have teaching in my blood as my father taught art and photography at my high school for 30 years.  I'd like to follow in his footsteps.
