About Christyn B.
Hi there! My name is Christyn and I'm a web developer, currently working at The Public Theater. I love to code and to teach others how to do it too. When I was learning how to code, I noticed that there are not a lot of opportunities for learning web development one-on-one. There are good resources online, but if you get stuck, there's no human to ask questions to. That's why I offer one-on-one coding classes for beginners! These classes are casual and fun. We'll be able to move at your pace and tailor the session to your skill level.
These sessions are great for all kinds of beginners- people who want to learn for fun or profit, college students deciding on a major, professionals considering a career change, people who work in other fields and need to create webpages/e-mails for work, people who want to understand the thought process of web developers on their team, etc.
I've designed each session to give you as much information as I can, so you feel confident continuing on your own. I believe the best way to learn how to code is to put your hands on the keyboard and type, so I'll do the talking, and you'll do the typing.
