My name is Christine, and I am from Suffolk, Virginia. I tutor students who want to learn English as a second language. I am certified in TEFL/TESOL, Business English, and English for Academic Purposes. I hold a bachelor's degree in business management from Virginia Wesleyan College. I am passionate about helping my students achieve their goals. While every student aims to be fluent in English, I focus on understanding each student's motivation for learning the language. I then tailor lessons around their specific goals. This approach keeps lessons interesting and encourages students to actively participate in selecting materials and suggesting topics. It keeps them engaged and enhances their learning experience. I enjoy reading, writing, crafting, kayaking, and spending time with my husband and fur babies.
