Brittany was such a wonderful teacher! She taught my dad the basics and helped me focus on my more intermediate level. Her studio was awesome - she made us feel right at home. We finished one painting each in 3 hours - she helped us explore new techniques and explore our own style. Super encouraging. She was lovely spending time with - highly recommend!!!

As a mid-20s poet and musician trying to expand into visual art, I found confidence I didn't know I had by taking lessons in drawing and painting with Brittany. With an encouraging demeanor, she has taught me techniques that organically lead to the kind of art I have always wanted to make. After my lessons with Brit, I feel inspired and motivated to keep making art and confident enough to push myself to new levels. No matter if you're just starting out or working on a portfolio, I couldn't recommend her enough!

Brit is a wonderful teacher for my 10-year-old daughter. She follows my daughter's lead in terms of interest, letting her create without too many boundaries, but also teaching her definite technique to achieve her vision, such as mixing colors and some different ways to apply paint to canvas. In addition, she is teaching her practical skills like prepping a canvas and caring for brushes. They do the work in a grad school studio, which leads to a lot of conversing on other people's work. This serves to inspire my daughter and also gives Brit ideas for her own work! Brit clearly enjoys working with kids and seeing their wheels turn. On top of that, she is calm and patient. I'd enthusiastically recommend her to any parents looking for an art teacher for their kids.
