English is a complex language that requires a lot of practice, and I am the teacher to help you accomplish that goal. I graduated from the University of Dayton with an education degree and a minor in English. I have experience teaching children ages 3-18 and adults. I work to get to know the student and incorporate his/her interests into learning. I will utilize these interests to find writing prompts, books, and conversation topics that will engage the student while simultaneously strengthening his/her English skills. If you choose to complete your tutoring in person, I have a number of props and learning tools that the student will be able to touch, feel, and use to increase his/her English knowledge. If you complete tutoring via webcam, you will be able to see and hear me clearly. I will utilize different cameras, props, and tools to assist the student in getting an interactive, hands-on lesson that is beneficial to his/her English learning journey. These lessons will be focused on reaching the goals of the student, whether that be an increase in letter grade at school, or becoming a stronger writer to be more productive at work.
