Acrylic Painting with Abigail H.

I am an artist with a bright and colorful style. I have been painting since I was a little girl. As I progressed I took on commissions with local businesses, I sold my artwork in coffee shops, and taught private art lessons. Once I reached college I started my own art business where I design and sell shirts and stickers. I also am currently in the process of illustrating two children's picture books. For commission work I have designed and painted logos. I have painted wood and metal business signs for multiple companies. I have also created canvas paintings to decorate business lobbies. My passion is for color, so my style is bright and cheerful. I have dabbled in impressionism but recently found my love for folk art. I therefore decided to create my own unique style by combining bright colors, floral designs, and nature. This led to me starting my own business where I sell stickers and shirt with my own designs. I desire to be creative in everything I do, and my artwork reflects it well. I like being different, but that starts with learning the rules of art and reviewing what prior masters have done. When teaching I like to encourage student growth in the basics. I help them shape their own unique style that they feel confident in. I firmly believe that practice is where muscle memory comes from in order to create beautiful artwork.
