Outstanding start.

While I had previous experience playing an instrument MANY years ago, I never played the piano and started taking lessons with Lori as an adult. In almost no time I was able to read the bass clef (left hand) notes and within the year I had learned all the scales (majors and relative minors - both harmonic and melodic) and arpeggios (root and inversions). I was also playing "real" pieces of music.

Lori stresses good technique and good practice habits and can suggest more than one way to master a concept. She also makes learning the piano fun.

Pro Tools is the industry standard for digital recording. It's very powerful and useful software, but it can be daunting for those unfamiliar.

Vince first used Pro Tools in high school. Since, Pro Tools has gone through many upgrades; and Vince has kept up. Through college, Vince took recording classes focusing on sound design and live application utilizing Pro Tools. During those years, Vince produced more than 2000 audio mixes for a variety of regional, national, and international advertising campaigns.

Now a full-time freelance musician, recording still plays a major role in Vince's career. He produces, engineers, edits, and mixes many of his solo albums in addition to other artists' music. All using Pro Tools.

Vince's home studio runs the current version of Pro Tools software on PC supplemented by third party plug-ins including Waves Gold

What makes my trumpet lessons unique is that I approach the instrument in a very pedagocial and simple approach. The basis of sound and ease of playing is always a top priority for myself and my students. I strive to make playing the trumpet fun and challenging and strive to make the best music I possibly can with my students as I know they are also striving to become a better musician and person.

"Josh has been a fantastic Instructor for my middle school age son. He worked closely with him on several pieces that were required to audition at two summer music camps helping him to move from near last position the year before to the top of the class. His improvements were formally recognized with an award at the end of 7th grade and I think Josh was a large part of that improvement. We were saddened to hear that Josh would be leaving the Denver area but wish him the best of success in his new ventures. Josh is an excellent instructor and we would certainly work with him again in the future."

Top 50 Intermediate Guitar Songs Everyone Should Know

The topic of intermediate guitar songs and solos is a tricky one, because it means different things to different people. Some players learn certain techniques faster than others, and what is advanced to some is borderline-beginner to others. Nevertheless, songs like “Blackbird” by Paul McCartney, “Can’t Stop” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and “Voodoo Child” by Jimi Hendrix are popular, time-honored classics that you probably won’t learn as a brand new guitarist.
