Zero travel time is great for a busy schedule.
Typically priced lower than local lessons.
Online students stick with lessons as long as local students.
For the best experience, we typically recommend 60-minute music lessons. However, students looking for a more affordable option may want to consider a shorter lesson length of 45 or 30 minutes. On average, 45-minute music lessons are 20% less expensive at $40, and 30-minute lessons cost 40% less at $30.

I found the gypsy inspired pieces composed by classical composers like Monti's Csaras. This was my connection into classical music. I found a teacher who played classical and Arabic violin and began studying intensely for technique. As I got deeper into the study of classical I realized how much I love classical music.
I now have been playing classically for 6 years and have been playing the violin 12 years I have studied with Hannah Khoury, Daniel Han of the Philadelphia Orchestra and am currently with Vladimir Dyo who is a full time facu
I began attending Temple Universities Boyer College of Music in 2011. I have performed in Kimmel Center and Alice Tully Hall with our orchestra since than. I continue to play various performances with my background in improvisation but right now I focus full-time on being a student.

I love to teach. I have taught students from ages 8-42 and am open to teach anyone above 7 and above. We will start with the Suzuki method to get the basics of violin and will progress to play pieces of music varying to your tastes and level. If you want to play Irish fiddle, we can have you playing jigs and reels in just a few months. If your interested in jazz we can have you playing standards or if you want to a play classical we can work towards you being able to sight read and perform pieces within 6 months.
Of course if you already play we can pick up where you left off. I strongly believe no matter what interest you have in violin, it is important to study classically to get the proper technique. All styles I teach will be supplemented with classical etudes and exercises.
*** Travel Equipment ***
I expect them to own a violin and be willing to purchase necessary equipment. (music, metronome, tuner, shoulder rest, etc... varies on student)

In 2012 I recorded one piano piece every week for the year and uploaded it to Soundcloud. These raw, unedited files, recorded in my living room are just some of my favorite pieces — from Scarlatti and Bach to Janacek and Rachmaninoff — with a sprinkling of modern music. I believe the more music students learn, the quicker they progress and improve their reading skills. I challenge my students to sightread, improvise, perform and participate in music

From 2013-2015 I taught group music classes through Soli Encore in Orange County, CA, in violin, guitar and K-2 creative music (Orff-based instruction with singing, xylophone, hand percussion and flutophone). The last two years of that position I managed the entire program including hiring teachers, writing curriculum, and teaching classes myself. I had also consistently held private violin, viola, and guitar students. In both violin and viola I saw my students move up chairs in their orchestras and excel in local, district and state honor orchestras. I sent students to great schools for music like Orange County School of the Arts and Ne
As for my performance career, I have committed to always being a member of an orchestra, band or performing group of some sort because it's my passion and I endeavor to teach from personal experience. Over my last ten years in SoCal I performed with several groups including the Blackbird Music Project, Montage Orchestra and Symphony Irvine. My last year concluded my position as Principal viola of the Dana Point Symphony for four seasons. I was in two bands during my college years. With Galanis I was a part of several Western U.S. tours that took us through California, Arizona, Utah, Idaho and Montana. I have had the privilege of working with artists such as violinist Anne Marie Calhoun, Jimmy Hopper, Andy Grammer and Stevie Nicks. Some of the larger productions I have been a part of include appearances on TV shows like Melrose Place and the Bachelorette, and performances for former President G.W. Bush and at the Governor's Ball for the Academy Awards.
My performance career continues to grow here on the East Coast, where I have lived since August 2015. I have been a member of the McLean Orchestra and have been added to rosters for the Alexandria Symphony, Arlington Philharmonic and Washington Sinfonietta. I currently hold a Bachelor's of Music in Viola Performance from Azusa Pacific University where I studied with Robert Becker, founder of the American String Quartet with a BM and MM in Viola Performance from Juilliard. I am now enrolled as a graduate assistant for my Master's of Music in Viola Performance at the University of Delaware.
When I'm not making music I'm running far, studying nutrition, cooking or spending time with my beloved friends and family!

I have enjoyed performing in a wide range of environments and genres; Italian opera, jazz, liturgical music, and even a hip-hop/rap promotional for YMCMB are just a few of the things I have put my musical thumbprint on! In my native Florida, I enjoyed te
While I'm a stickler for perfection, I work in music primarily because I think it's a lot of fun. I strive to foster a learning environment that is enjoyable for my students and prefer teaching methods that are constructive vs. destructive (I don't believe in "building you back up" after tearing you down)! I prioritize HEALTHY use of the voice whether my student is fifteen or fifty: every stage of life poses challenges (and benefits) to the vocal instrument and my specialized study and performing experience aids in me recognizing the good and bad in every singer to help them grow.
I had the chance to perform a bit everywhere in the world in many different music style.
I love to teach vocal techniques and learn new things and I am not afraid of challenges.
