After 3 years of a extremely bad brake up with musical theatre. It was really nice to be back at it and Carolyn made me feel comfortable enough to actually take my first dance lesson in 4 years.

i have been working with Carolyn for the past couple of years and she is excellent. Clearly very skilled and a very experienced teacher. Very patient as well, especially when I have not had much time to practice. She totally understands I have work commitments that take priority.
I enjoy every lesson and I am so pleased that I can pick up music scores and play with confidence. I thoroughly enjoy each class.

I have been teaching and coaching actors for over 20 years. My students work professionally on stage, TV and film. Within the first few lessons, you will understand how to create a character. Soon, you will have the skills to book a role. I specialize in method acting, but draw upon my experience at The Second City (improvisation) in Chicago and other training I have had. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels; I can't wait to meet you!

About Jeremy

Are you working on a part for a play or film and need assistance? If you are new to acting, I can teach you what it takes to be an actor and how to bring a character to life. Do you need to prepare for an audition? Do you want to learn about the business of acting? Script analysis? I can help. I

After my first film audition, in as many years, it was quite evident I needed an acting instructor. For months, I looked high and low to find the right one. I wanted an instructor who could challenge me, yet in a nurturing manner. An instructor who can speak confidently about the craft. Above all, an instructor you look forward to seeing every session. Jeremy Kruse is all that and then some.

Within weeks of pairing up, my acting style/delivery is far more conversational. Plus, I’m more at ease when working to find the true essence of a character to develop and make my own.

I always walk away from Jeremy’s sessions learning something new. Jeremy’s constant encouragement has propelled my confidence, as an actor, to another level.

Initially, I wasn’t really into the idea of taking acting classes via FaceTime. The idea sounded so impersonal and potentially distracting, not with Jeremy. It's as if he's working with you, face-to-face, in a studio.

In addition to acting, Jeremy has been so supportive with my first attempt in writing a screenplay. He's such a creative influence.

The secret is out, Jeremy Kruse is the "Best Instructor Ever"! Working with him makes my dreams of becoming an accomplished actor a reality. Thanks Jeremy!

Jeremy is great! He's super personable and down to earth, and he never makes you feel like you've screwed up. He gives good feedback and is very knowledgeable. He's always open to answer any questions I have, too. Really great guy!

I love these lessons! I look forward to them every week. Jeremy is a cool down to earth guy and is easy to talk to which really helps if you're new to this kind of thing. He gives good feedback that really makes you see things from the outside in.

Melanie is an absolutely incredible vocal teacher/coach. I noticed a change in my voice after just the first lesson. Her vast knowledge of the anatomy used to create vocal sounds combined with the techniques she teaches has definitely improved my voice. She taught me how to belt and showed me the difference between my belt and my mix, which was beyond helpful. She also taught me how to sing in my head voice in a healthier and more effective way. And on top of that, she has a mental library full of great song recommendations for my individual voice. Can't wait until our next lesson!

Danielle is amazing and helped me make some big changes in 4-weeks. If you are willing to put in the work and take direct feedback you should definitely book sessions with her!

Danielle is top notch. She brings so much experience, training, and talent to the table, finding new ways to help get to the root of the conversation. She helped me realize new potential by looking for ways to find my true, authentic voice. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Ivan
Danielle is a fantastic actor and coach! I've had the pleasure of sharing a stage with her and working with her as my acting coach for many years. Her approach to material helps to simplify the (seemingly) most complicated scenes. Her focus on naturalistic acting and "in the moment" spontaneity is exactly what every actor--at any level--needs to make their work real and full of life.

"Improv Acting with Jessie

In January, I decided to take a last minute opportunity to apply for a job at Disney World over the summer. After doing some research regarding the audition process, I found out that there was a brief improv portion involved in the audition. About two and a half to three weeks before the audition, I found Jessie and booked four lessons.
What I received from my lessons was more than I could have ever hoped for. Jessie is an amazing teacher. She is very knowledgable, gives incredibly feedback and advice, and in addition to what an awesome teacher she is, she also is INCREDIBLY flexible and willing to work with your schedule."

As a beginner improver, I am so lucky I found Christine! She has taught me so many valuable tools that have improved my scene work and my decision making. In addition, she always addresses my specific issues during each lesson and even emails me with advice and fun GIFS! (no, not "gifts", but graphic interchange formats! :D Every class is fun and lighthearted and I look forward to it each week.

My lessons are virtual, but she is still very effective at participating in scenes and even encouraged my fellow classmate to join me during our lessons. We can't say enough great things about each class!!"
