Winner of several awards and competitions, pianist Jason Thomas has been recognized locally and internationally for his warm playing and personality.

Jason is based in New York, receiving his Bachelors and Masters from Manhattan School of Music (MSM), and is currently finishing the last semester of his Doctoral Studies from MSM.

Jason's extensive teaching career includes giving Piano Lectures at notable schools, including Rutgers University, giving master classes for advanced students at MSM, as well as helping students prepare for auditions to various schools. Jason welcomes all levels from absolute beginner to professional.

My goal as Piano teacher is to encourage, inspire, and challenge each one of my students. I bring my passion and love for the instrument into every lesson. I enjoy teaching many different styles ranging from jazz, classical, and pop. I also received my Bachelors Degree in Music Composition from Cal State Northridge.
Learning to play music has been my biggest blessing in life, and my goal is to share this wonderful world with my students.

Lessons for beginners who have never played or are new to guitar. Music theory/reading is an option.

Guitar is the first instrument I learned to play starting from when I was 12 years old. I have taught many students how to play guitar from the ground up!

My teaching method starts with what you want to learn to play. That's what it is all about, right? Learning the songs you want to play becomes a vehicle for knowing more about guitar.

For beginning guitar, it is best if we can meet in person so I can see your hand position and posture in detail.

Hello there! My name is Lauren, and I have over a decade of experience teaching violin. I earned my BM and MM degrees from Eastman School of Music in Violin Performance and perform regularly at venues such as Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and the Kennedy Center.

As a teacher, I adapt my teaching methods on-the-spot to introduce and reinforce concepts in a patient, enthusiastic, and creative manner tailored to each student. In addition to equipping my students with proper violin technique, students are empowered and develop their communication skills and confidence while fostering a lasting curiosity for learning and a genuine love for the imaginative and expressive capabilities of music.
