I'm Grant!
And it would be my pleasure to be your music instructor.
I structure my lessons specifically around what you want to learn and how you want to learn it. We will go as slow or fast through the material as you'd like, focusing on playing songs and the techniques needed to improve, practice better, and have more fun on the instrument. 

I teach all of the fretted string instruments:

This online ukulele class will take your skills to the next level! Learn new ways to strum the ukulele, called “strumming patterns,” as well as how to use a metronome. Join in to see your musicianship improve even more!

In this online ukulele class, you’ll practice playing along with a helpful instructor so you can understand how it feels to play through an entire song. If you're an adult finally getting around to learning your dream instrument or a child following your passion I tailor your lessons specifically to you. We look at what you want to play, pick specific songs that you want to learn, and learn the techniques you need to play these songs. It sounds simple, but it's  the most effective and fun way to learn!

Grant was patient enough to break down the "walls" that I kept hitting or lessons I kept getting stuck with, but at the same time, progressive to make sure I don't waste time being fixated on one lesson. Highly recommended!

I started taking lessons with Grant a little over two months ago, and I can’t recommend him enough. When I am struggling with a technique, he’ll break down the issue in multiple ways until we find an explanation and exercise that “clicks” for me. Even as I struggle, Grant maintains a completely chill attitude. On top of having a fantastic teaching style and patience, he is punctual. Grant is an excellent guitarist and capable of breaking down concepts in multiple ways to communicate/translate them for the student experience.
