I'm Grant!

And it would be my pleasure to be your music instructor.

I structure my lesson plans specifically around what you want to learn and how you want to learn it. We will go as slow or fast through the material as you'd like, focusing on playing songs and the techniques needed to improve, practice better, and have more fun on the instrument.

I like to make learning an instrument fun and easy to fit into your schedule!

If you're an adult finally getting around to learning your dream instrument or a child following your passion I tailor your lessons specifically to you. We look at what you want to play, pick specific songs that you want to learn, and learn the techniques you need to play these songs. It sounds simple, but it's  the most effective and fun way to learn!

Grant is fantastic. He has so much patience and a great attitude, as well. He makes learning the ukulele fun, even for students who are musically challenged.

I started taking lessons with Grant a little over two months ago, and I can’t recommend him enough. When I am struggling with a technique, he’ll break down the issue in multiple ways until we find an explanation and exercise that “clicks” for me. Even as I struggle, Grant maintains a completely chill attitude. On top of having a fantastic teaching style and patience, he is punctual. I am not a betting lady, but if I was, I would put good money on Grant being the best guitar teacher that you’ll find. 

Grant is an excellent guitarist and capable of breaking down concepts in multiple ways to communicate/translate them for the student experience. 

Grant seems like a great teacher. My son has only had one lesson but is really positive about the next one.

Grant is a fantastic teacher! Just had my first lesson. I started learning ukulele on my own a few months ago and was having trouble with certain things. Also didn't want to get into bad habits. He was very focused on what I wanted to learn, taught me some key things and gave me homework to help with chord changes and rhythm. Looking forward to our next lesson!
