I'm Grant!
And it would be my pleasure to be your music instructor.
I structure my lessons specifically around what you want to learn and how you want to learn it. We will go as slow or fast through the material as you'd like, focusing on playing songs and the techniques needed to improve, practice better, and have more fun on the instrument.

Transitioning between different parts of a song can be tricky as a beginner, but this class will make it a breeze! You’ll practice switching between strumming and picking as you play a few songs alongside your instructor. You’ll also learn a couple new chords!

This class will show you how to play guitar licks alongside chords, switching seamlessly back and forth between strumming and picking. You’ll start with small sections before moving onto playing an entire song with the help of an instructor. You’ll also get to learn a few new chords to add to your repertoire!

Grant is fantastic. He has so much patience and a great attitude, as well. He makes learning the ukulele fun, even for students who are musically challenged.

I started taking lessons with Grant a little over two months ago, and I can’t recommend him enough. When I am struggling with a technique, he’ll break down the issue in multiple ways until we find an explanation and exercise that “clicks” for me. Even as I struggle, Grant maintains a completely chill attitude. On top of having a fantastic teaching style and patience, he is punctual. Grant is an excellent guitarist and capable of breaking down concepts in multiple ways to communicate/translate them for the student experience.
