Self-taught software engineer with experiences in autonomous vehicles, high-frequency trading, and cybersecurity. I am also currently attending a top 10 computer science Masters program at Georgia Tech specializing in machine learning/artificial intelligence to fill in the gaps in my knowledge.

I know firsthand how difficult it is to learn programming whether you are a total newbie, or a budding intermediate, but I have overcame these challenges myself and will guide you to overcome them too. I also have close to 8 years of tutoring experience, which will surely come in handy!

About Bill

I have always been a self-studier in my entire life. Being able to learn with just books and your brain is a crucial skill to have! However, I know not everyone (and sometimes even myself) have the discipline and motivation to keep going during hard times. This is where a tutor would come in handy.

Want to finally understand how to program in Java? I am an experienced programmer with experience throughout my college degree and at JPMorgan. I utilize a lot of strategies to help my students understand seemingly complex topics. Firstly, I try to relate programming concepts to real-life scenarios such as relating classes and objects to blueprints and stores. Secondly, I always try to reinforce the "why" when solving a problem. This includes why a certain solution is better than another and why solving this problem matters. Finally, I try to make sure that every student understands what is going on "under the hood." When a student understands what is going on "under the hood", they now have learned how to fish as opposed to being given a fish.

About Jacob

I'm Jake! I graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in computing security and am currently working towards my master's degree in computing security. Both degrees will be from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). In college, I realized both how frustrating and how rewarding programming

With over a decade of teaching experience, I know how to explain concepts. Learning coding requires writing code. I have experience with Java. We can go over your class examples and learn "if, else" statements, loops, arrays, object oriented programming and using documentation. I will translate the words of your instructor to plain English that can be broken down and understood at a fundamental level. I recently got an A on a final exam for a course on Java at an accredited university.

About Ben

Learning coding requires making the jump from plain English to binary, 0's and 1's. When you write code, you speak in a language made for a virtual instrument called a compiler. This instrument then translates your specific syntax and language into 0's and 1's. The compiler sends the message to the

Software Engineer with 4-5 years of professional experience in Java. I have studied computer science with my foundation in Java. I love investing my time in teaching. I have been an assistant professor for many Java courses at Rutgers both beginner and intermediate difficulty. I am very open and transparent in how the student wants to learn.

About Pranav

I am a software engineer working professionally for 4.5 years in the industry. My goal from my classes will be that you should be able to code and program regardless of the programming language. I am proficient in Java, Javascript and some C/Python. I can start with either and we can build up. I g

I gave Pranav a tough task; an advanced Java concept I needed help with and a short amount of time. He did an amazing job at condensing the information, made sure that I had my own copy of all the key syntax, and was polite while explaining all the information. I would gladly use him again.
