Lessons are designed for student success! The basics of piano playing are incorporated into each lesson as students quickly progress into playing songs and making music. I can take a student from the very beginning to upper intermediate. I look forward to making music with your student!

Mr. A. has a talent for teaching that makes it a privilege to be one of his students. Our son has been thoroughly enjoying the time under his tutelage, and continues to do so via video while in-house is not an option. The trumpet lessons have included trumpet technique, musical notation and reading, ear training, trumpet hygiene, and instrument care.
Mr. A. is a respectful, punctual, and precise teacher who inspires students to reach their potential.

Mr. Arnold has a very thorough knowledge of music and what it takes to physically create music. If you don't understand something one way, he will explain it in other way's that you do understand. He seems to have no limit to his patience and caring about his student's. A great sense of humor, a guy you would like as a neighbor.

I was raised in the Suzuki method, trained in it, and I believe in it. It is the most effective school of education for new musicians who want to learn reliably. I've been teaching it 9 years.

I can talk to you for days about the method, but I will sum it up as quickly as i can.

1: Immersion
2: Daily Practice
3: Listening
4: Strong relationship between student, teacher and parent.

If the student listens everyday, practices everyday, practices what i tell them, and is made to love the music, you will learn. I've taught hundreds of students this way and when all the conditions are met, all my students have had success.

Piano lessons are structured with a focus on what the student needs. We ensure a strong with a foundation of scales, note reading, and ear training, to give the student the versatility to go in any musical direction they like, and make them a well rounded musician. The books I usually begin in for piano will either be Suzuki book 1 for piano or "Adventures ...

Jamie is a natural teacher of her craft! Her ability to quickly assess and adapt lessons to my daughters’ personalities and preferences of music, as well as her incredibly positive and encouraging demeanor, has made taking voice lessons a great learning experience for both of them. She is very dedicated to finding ways that work for each student to understand how to use their voice and find their breath, and even given the current circumstances of having lessons via FaceTime because of social distancing, the quality and level of expertise of her lessons have not faltered in the least. We are fans!
Marie
Jamie's approachable and friendly personality is reflected in her teaching style - she is not afraid to have you try various unconventional techniques that turn out to be super effective and fun! In the year I've been taking lessons with her, my breath support, technique, and vocal range have all improved significantly - so much so that a high note that I found strenuous a year ago is now almost within my comfort range! She is very receptive to different styles of music, and her suggestions are always challenging, fun, and geared towards developing your voice.

I am a beginner friendly piano instructor who can explain (what can sometimes be rather complex) content in an easy to understand and age appropriate way. I have a music certification (requiring me to demonstrate a level of proficiency on the piano) and experience playing the keys on recordings.

We will cover the fundamentals and foundational elements of piano and music theory that can be applied and later translated to other music subjects. I will help my students set and reach attainable goals with their music and performances.

Piano lessons with me mean access to a plethora of knowledge and piano/music material that I can't wait to share with you. The only thing you will need to work with me is a piano/keyboard and your computer (a printer helps too), so let's get started!

About Mariah

I am a certified voice teacher ready to take your music abilities to the next level. I have a strong passion for music, which I have been studying for over 13 years. From the time I was ten years old, I have been formally singing in select choirs, musicals, and solo performances. Additionally, I wri

"My girl loves music. She has a great ear, timing and perfect pitch. Hence, I bought her a piano and she's been taking lessons from Fawn for a few months now. She's even practicing without being threatened or forced to. And now she is making something that sounds like music, professional music. It's its own reward. I like Fawn's style of teaching and so does my child. So I've got nothing but good things to say! Fawn is a superior coach and even though lessons are a sacrifice for this working single mom, I'm grateful to have found Fawn who keeps my child motivated, fascinated, happy, content and filled with the joy of music!"
