Experienced vocal coach with over 5 years of teaching in a wide variety of genres from contemporary and choral, to theater and country. I have clients ranging from those struggling with pitch, to theater students in high school, and professional musicians looking to take their skills to the next level.

For those who have trouble with pitch and have been told they are “tone deaf”. You aren’t a lost cause! I enjoy helping singers and those aspiring to sing find new levels of confidence and joy in their voice and performance.

In addition to performing professionally for over 12 years with the principal chorus of The Florida Orchestra, The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay, I perform weekly alongside my husband in the Tampa Bay Area as our duo “Dear Augustine”.

I cater lessons to fit your specific needs and genre, laying a foundation of functional breathing and healthy voice function. My goal is to help you understand how the voice works and show you that you can access the tools to ...

About Chantal

I am a professional singer, songwriter, pianist and recording artist and my passion is teaching! I have been singing in choral groups since age 8, and began singing professionally both in worship and secular contemporary at age 23. I have been singing with principal chorus for The Florida Orchestr

The Uke is growing in popularity because of it's ease of playing and how much fun it is to play. A great starter instrument to branch onto guitar later on or a unique instrument to master. I can help you master the Uke and have a lot of fun doing it.

About Jeremy

I have been a professional performing musician and producer for over 10 years and have had hundreds of students during that time. I grew up playing classic rock and classical. By the time I graduated high school I had visited 26 states playing music. I have studied music at the University of Scienc

Hello my name is Max and I play double bass. I have played for over 10 years in many settings and different genres. Double bass has been my passion since I was a teenager and I have poured a lot of my time and energy into learning this wonderful instrument. I have studied under several bassists in the Florida orchestra and the Sarasota orchestra. I would love to show you the ropes or to teach advanced repertoire to students of all ages. I can teach any genre on double bass. Thank you for reading and I wish you success with your studies!

Max has been a stellar double bass tutor for my son. He caught on right away how to work with him and improve his playing, technique and music theory. You can really tell he has a passion for music (especially the double bass) and teaching. Will continue to have my son study under him :)

Max was very helpful as a teacher. He gave me a lot of good insight into picking the bass for bluegrass music. I've been primarily playing bowed music. I plan to continue my lessons with him.

Students can be expected to play not just repertoire provided from their school but also assignments given by me. I enjoy teaching to better my Students musicianship not just to get in to region band or get Superior ratings at solo and ensemble. Bettering ones musicianship will almost certainly lead to these things however.

About Jeremy

As a spring 2020 graduate of McNeese State University I bring a fresh perspective to private teaching. I will adapt to meet the needs of any student and help any student achieve the highest level they can achieve. For me, the greatest reward is watching students succeed in what they love to do.

I teach singers of all genres (country, classical, pop, bluegrass, rock…) to sing with confidence and freedom!

I teach an open throat technique (appoggio) that allows the singer to sing with freedom, and access their entire range evenly. I also work with students to develop style, interpretation, languages, and acting ability.

About Josh

I am a professional singer, pianist, songwriter, and recording artist. I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelors of Music, specifically voice. Voice students can expect to improve week to week in their vocal technique. Every voice has a unique timbre; I teach students to rel

I started playing acoustic guitar when I was seven years old (off and on). I then started traveling more and found the mandolin to be so much easier to carry around and so much fun, it was hard to stop playing it. I have been playing and teaching mostly bluegrass, old time, Irish, blues, and swing jazz styles for many years. I have taught both privately and have also done various workshops at festivals. I have taught multiple years for instance at the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival in PA, The Traditions week at Common Ground on the Hill Festival in MD, etc
My students learn to have fun with music. Students can work on rhythms, melodies, improvisation, song writing, arranging tunes, music theory, getting into and/or hanging on in a jam session, etc.

About Tara

I have a Masters in Education as well as having spent many years performing, teaching in one on one and group settings both privately and at music camps and festivals. "Lena is PHENOMENAL! I've been taking lessons with her for 1.5 years and still going! Though she has chapters of curriculum to follow, she tailors her curriculum for each student so that they learn at their own pace, and she doesn't always go in order by chapter either! She gives you what you need when you are ready for it.

Her experience as a teacher, guitarist, singer/songwriter, and performer all come into play during her lessons (at least, for me anyway!). As a new singer/songwriter myself, she not only teaches me guitar at a pace that matches my own, but also provides guidance on vocals, setlist creation, and live or studio performance tips. And she has a seasonal Live Showcase Performance at a local music venue for any of her students that are interested in gaining live performance experience.

Lena is honest and encouraging all at once... which is a hard balance to maintain. I highly respect her as a mentor and musician. If not for her, I never would have discovered my ability to become a singer/songwriter and release my first EP!

Bottom line: if you can get on her lesson roster... DON'T WAIT!"
