I am at the mid point of my 8 lessons with Randall. I began my lessons as a firm believer I didn't have a music bone in my body. I was tone deaf. I couldn't learn music.
Since I started my harmonica lessons began, Randall has helped me throw these self imposed restrictions in the trash can. I hear musical notes now. When I whistle, I can tell i'm off tune with the song. And I'm playing, although slowly, songs I love on a musical instrument. And I'm not talking Hot Cross Buns or the song about wondering what a Twinkling Star is. (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, how I wonder what you are....you obviously know what it is, you just called it by name?!)
I'm talking Killing Me Softly, and Patience by Guns N' Roses.
Randall always infuses musical history within the lessons, which I find as valuable as the lesson themselves. During the lesson, when trying to help demonstrate how the song goes, Randall will pull out an additional instrument and play along side me. I'm literally playing music with someone, I never thought I was capable of this! It's very exciting for a musical novice.
Randall also emphasizes learning the right way, at the right speed. As I was racing through Patience with little grace, he gave me this feedback.
"Do we want to play this song like Axel Rose, heck yeah we do! And we will! But for now, lets slow it down and learn it correctly." He wants his students to learn the right way, so when it's time, they play their instrument at a high level.

My lessons have been an all encompassing educational experience.
If you are interested in learning a musical instrument, in a fun atmosphere from a passionate music professional, you should book Randall ASAP.

I would highly recommend Tony Mitri as a voice and music instructor. My son takes lessons with Mr. Mitri and his progress has been astounding! He studies with other teachers previously without much success. My son has said he has learned more from Mr. Mitri than all of his previous instructors. He enjoys the lessons so he works harder at making progress and it shows. He helped him expand his range substantially, and increase his confidence. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in music of any kind. Mr.Mitri is awesome professional, patient and extremely knowledgeable. You won’t be disappointed.

Mr Radeck is an exceptionally talented and versatile musician. At Christ Presbyterian Church, I have seen him in action at his lively ragtime concerts, sung many of his original compositions and fine arrangements and shared together piano and organ duets. Steven has a unique insight into fulfilling the needs of participants with fast results and a touch of humor. He is masterfully comfortable in the shoes of choral director, pianist, organist, teacher, composer, and performer.
He has been trained and has performed among the great musicians of our age and keenly shares his own very special talent.

Respectfully, Arthur. A. Goetze [retired: Director of Clearwater Chorus and Choral Essence]

I have 30 years of music experience. I started playing piano when I was 5 years old. I started playing bass guitar at age 10, and I started playing guitar at age 20. I started performing in public at the age of 6. By the time I was in high school, I was gigging most weekends. I also started recording when I was in high school. My musical background includes rock, jazz, classical, heavy metal, Middle-Eastern pop music, Christian contemporary, as well as some Latin music. Along with my experience playing music, I have taught students for 15 years.

I have a Master's Degree in Musicology from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies from Furman University. In my life, I have studied with some extremely accomplished musicians, including Ian Bracchitta, Matt Olson, Steve Watson and Craig Wagner. I am curr
ently a musician at Park Place Wesleyan Church, where I play twice a week.

I can teach the fundamentals of bass playing and advanced technique, music theory, improvisation, sight reading, and music history. You will learn not only how to play the instrument proficiently, you will learn how the bass functions musically in a group as well. My lessons can be catered to fit the style of music you wish to pursue, whether it be rock, jazz, heavy metal, classical, etc.

If your goal is to be a stellar, well-rounded musician, you will be in excellent hands with me.

About Thomas
Hello friends!

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Tom Ball, and I'm here to help you excel on your instrument by adapting to your personal learning style while also using tried-and-true methods developed over the course of my 10+ years teaching classical, jazz, and blues guitar, as well as mandolin and music theory.

First things first: I'll want to understand your background and dominant learning styles so that we can communicate in a manner that is clear, concise and highly effective.

Once we've gotten to know each other a bit and defined your primary goals on your instrument, I'll develop a lesson plan and system of evaluation to ensure that you're progressing at a satisfactory rate.

A few important things:

1) Do not be deceived; freedom on your instrument requires discipline. You can indeed create anything
that you wish, but having an idea or dream won't do you any good unless you have the requisite understanding of how to apply the proper tools to bring the idea into being.

That's where practice comes in, which should be highly specific so that you can get the most out of your time. I'll help you with that.

2) That being said, while discipline and professionalism are absolutely necessary to get optimal results, it is always important to have fun and to learn something new every day.

Therefore, lessons with me won't include tons of papers and homework and an air of misplaced academic superiority. We'll be highly specific and effective and have fun learning new things together in a laid-back, encouraging atmosphere.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to help you reach your musical goals, and eagerly awaiting your message. Let's get started today!

Thank you,
Thomas E. Ball, III

Tom is attentive to the needs/direction/abilities of the student. Me. Discerning the individual, Tom formulates and adjusts appropriately a series of lessons to encourage the “student” to progress. There’s not a magic formula, but a custom discerned lesson plan constantly open to change. The best.

Tom and I had a few lessons together that completely shaped the way I see how music is played and taught me about the relationship between theory and practice. If you’re into learning about more than a simple chords in a song, and want to take your ability to play and understand music to a higher level, look no further than Tom. He’s talented and experienced in not only music, but in many other varieties of modalities of health and wisdom, and can meet you wherever your skill and experience level is at. Highly recommended

My name is Katie!

I’m from the sunshine state and I’m in my mid-20s with a passion to inspire passion in music!

I have been playing piano since I was a wee lass. Around 4 my parents put me in Children’s Music Academy in Denver, CO! It was a wonderful foundation for me to take off into music.

My education continued when we moved to Florida, I attended the local performing arts middle school, John Hopkins Middle School where I studied piano and guitar. I continued my studies at my performing arts high school in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High school. A mouthful, I know! We just call it PCCA around the 'burg. I had a few very influential teachers that gave me the inspiration to continue music in college. I was very lucky to find professors at UT that gave me the opportunity to pursue anything that pique
d my interest and fan the flames of inspiration.

I graduated from the University of Tampa in 2016 and hold a Bachelors degree in Music with a focus in Classical piano! I also got a chance to study under some amazing local musicians and honed my skills in Jazz piano, guitar and bass. I have performed with various jazz ensembles and combos, performed in rock bands that have toured as far as TN and music directed two musicals locally in Tampa! I have taught guitar, piano and voice for over 8 years and look forward to inspiring the next generation of musicians!
