My son is currently taking online lessons with Lucas and we're both quite happy with the experience so far. My son has been playing tenor for 4 years (currently 10th grade- in concert, jazz and marching bands at school) and had only ever taken live lessons before, but we're finding that online works out well. No extra travel time/hassle, which is great since he doesn't drive yet- just log online from our basement. Lucas had good availability and has been open to reschedule as necessary. Lucas has helped him with pieces for honor band auditions so far with specific feedback and even I can hear the difference in my son's playing.

I have played saxophone for 7 years, and have taught saxophone student's as a P.A.L.S. teacher at the Aspen Music Summer Festival. I enjoy teaching everything from beginning fundamentals to jazz and improvisation.

About Josh
I am an avid clarinetist, energetic performer and enthusiastic teacher. My dream career is to be a soloist like Martin Frost, to play in an orchestra, or compose and perform my music.
My passion for teaching is similar to my passion for performing, and I have experience teaching privately since 2013 and in front of large groups, as a staff member for a high school marching band.
My teaching style is all about fundamentals as I try and break down the things you need to know about playing into easy to understand fundamentals that can be applied to all future playing.

While my degrees are in clarinet, I am also an accomplished saxophonist who has performed in ensembles throughout Colorado and Western Massachusetts, including jazz ensembles, musicals, and a professional saxophone quartet with performances at a regional North American Saxophone Alliance (NASA) Conference. I have experience ranging from helping students just learning their instrument all the way to students looking at All State or college auditions.

About Leslie
Leslie is a Denver based musician—clarinetist and teacher—who performs in solo and collaborative projects across the state while maintaining an active teaching studio. Leslie is in high demand as both a performer and teacher. Recent performances include solo performances is Denver and Stapleton, several chamber performances with her wind trio Enigma and the Lamont Clarinet Choir, and appearances with the Lone Tree Symphony, the San Juan Symphony, Lakewood Symphony, the Denver Pops Orchestra, the Littleton Symphony, the Lamont Symphony Orchestra, and extensive time playing Eb clarinet with the Lamont Wind Ensemble.

After she began playing clarinet with her hands switched, and consequently as the worst clarinetist in her band, Leslie began studying privately and soon discovered a passion for teaching and helping her own students improve
the way her teachers helped her. Leslie is a passionate educator who has spent time on faculty at Mt. Holyoke College and the Eaglebrook School. She currently maintains a private studio in Denver and is an active guest clinician across Colorado.

Leslie studied clarinet at Adams State, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and recently completed a Performance Certificate at the University of Denver. Influential teachers include Dr. Tracy Doyle, Claudia Weir, Michael Sussman, and Dr. Jeremy Reynolds. Leslie loves the color green, otters, Beethoven Symphony Number 7, Mozart operas, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, the smell of rosemary, and her rather aggressive, toothless cat.

I have been playing saxophone for almost 10 years and throughout that time I have played in many different ways. In high school, I was the section leader of the jazz band and led the band to state competitions all three years I was there. Currently, I play in the pop-rock band Chateau Chateau where I get to play for all kinds of people in Tucson! Lessons with me will start from the ground up where we learn what each little piece of the sax is used for as well as a few ways we can use them. Wanting more confidence in improvisation or trying to level up your playing? Let's tackle it together!

About Bryce
Space is so cool! I mean, there are stars exploding, planets being made, and black holes in between! There is a lot of stuff in the cosmos and my hope is to make it all a little less complicated. We can go through many aspects of astronomy including a star's life, constellations in the night sky, and/or becoming your own journaling astronomer! I have an astronomy minor from the University of Arizona as well as about 3 years of experience working at the Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium. So, no matter what part of space you want to learn about, we can tackle it!

Astronomy would be my favorite scholarly subject, but music would have to be my favorite recreational subject. I have enjoyed music for about 10 years with my first instrument learned: (besides the beloved recorder) trumpet. Since learning trumpet I have added about 5 or 6
instruments to my arsenal and have gained a great understanding of music theory through experience in bands as well as in actual music theory classes. There is just something totally different about music that I love sharing with other people.

But as much as I love astronomy and music, I have several other areas of interest including anatomy/physiology and even bowling! So, if space and/or music don't sound stellar to you, we might have another subject of interest in common!
