Hi! I teach acoustic guitar for all ages! I have 13 years experience playing and 3 years teaching. I tailor my lessons based on each individual students needs/goals. My specialty is playing and singing together, to include teaching students how to play cover songs to match their vocal range.

About Josh

My name is Josh and I love to play the guitar! I also enjoy teaching others and helping people find their passion through playing music I've been playing for 14 years, acoustic, electric, bass...you name it. I've been in a few bands (90s covers, Blues, Classic Rock) but find solo work to be my favor

I've been taking lessons with Jonah for 6 years now (4th-10th grade) and the experience has been amazing! With Jonah's help, I have learned so much about the guitar, both in technical aspects and in simply "jamming." Jonah is always very patient, kind, encouraging, and his passion for music very clearly shows in his teaching. Every lesson I take is very enjoyable, and I always come out of the lessons feeling like I have made good progress on whatever it was we were working on that week. Whether you wish to learn about complex music theory and lead guitar (like I am currently doing), or just want to learn how to play a few songs, Jonah is a perfect choice as a teacher. Additionally, Jonah is very communicative and flexible with timing. Whenever I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson for whatever reason, Jonah responds to my messages quickly and is almost always able to find another day that week for our lesson to take place on. 5 stars, fantastic teacher, I highly recommend Jonah!

Johah is very patient and flexible. He identifies and is willing to work on techniques, such as barre chords, in a way that finally helps me to stop the buzzing! I am looking forward to working with him.

My 15 year old son has been taking virtual guitar lessons with Jonah and has loved it. Jonah is a great teacher who really gets on my son’s level and connects. It’s a fun thing for him to do during this strange year.

Each student’s curriculum is individualized and adaptable to their level and interests. Songs are our greatest tool for teaching music, so students are encouraged to choose songs they love and want to learn. Besides, who wants to learn songs they don’t like?

I'm re-learning the piano with David and he has changed my relationship to music for the better. After only a few lessons with David I've gotten a greater understanding of music theory than I had in my few years of early piano training. He is patient and flexible with his style of teaching. If it's taking me awhile to understand a concept he's good at explaining it more clearly. I definitely recommend him for learning the piano!

David is a highly skilled multi-instrumentalist and producer. I was introduced when he recorded an EP for my band and since then, we've spent many an evening talking about performing, recording, teaching and making music. He is kind, patient and extremely knowledgable about his craft. I always learn something new, interesting and immediately applicable to my playing when I work with him. I've had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of his students and they have always been exceptionally professional and prepared. I highly recommend David for lessons in whatever discipline you request - the crossover knowledge from all of his experiences will be invaluable to you.

I am an experienced session player of about 5 years, specializing in classic rock, jazz, blues and pop! I have been playing guitar for 11 years and was self taught up until I studied music theory and performance at Los Angeles Pierce College. There I also played in the jazz ensemble and was a part of the choir where I played in multiple student concerts on and off campus, including at USC. Since then I have played lead and rhythm guitar in many bands around LA and released one album and two singles. My favorite artists include Phoebe Bridgers, St. Vincent, Jackson Browne, Tom Petty and Talking Heads. I like working with people who are eager to learn and willing to ask questions to make sure they get what they want out of my lessons.

About Jacob

I’ve been playing guitar for about 11 years. I started out self-taught and decided to take it a step further in college with theory classes and playing in the jazz band. I grew up on classic rock, (Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Jackson Browne) and nowadays I like to keep up with indie rock

"My lessons with Arron have been extremely beneficial and I recommend him to anyone that is trying to learn or get better at playing guitar. I have been playing guitar for a while now and what I’ve learned the most from Aaron is how to slow down and practice efficiently. He has taught me many different tools for practicing musical scales and has also been able to give me the “why” to all his methods. I’ve noticed so much progress in my playing and I’m so thankful."

"Greg has been an incredible teacher and mentor to me over the years. He’s pushed me to get out of my comfort zone and be successful in every musical area I chose to pursue. Greg made valuable acoustic guitar and vocal lessons enjoyable and rewarding. I’ve seen him build up teams of inexperienced people to become well rounded and proficient musicians. Top instructor recommendation for pursing a musical passion.

This guy will never take advantage of you, and is always understanding when I've had stuff come up. He really treats everyone with over-the-top kindness and never equivocates on that principle. "Calling Ahmad was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I spent almost a year trying to "teach myself" how to play the guitar, mostly as a new hobby, with little progress and a lot of frustration. Ahmad has been my teacher for about 7 months, and it has completely renewed my interest in investing the time to learn to play. Ahmad is extremely patient, makes playing/practicing fun, and offers flexible scheduling (which is extremely helpful when balancing multiple commitments). I have nothing but great things to say about Ahmad. I would recommend him to anyone and will be continuing to take lessons here for a long time to come!"

"My son is almost 6 and has been taking guitar lessons with Jordan for a few months now and I am shocked at how much progress my son has made in that short amount of time...especially considering that my son has ADHD and Tourette's Syndrome, which means that my son does not practice that much because of his limited ability to focus, amongst other things. However, despite all this, Jordan is just so patient and kind and creates a safe and calm environment for son to learn and feel good about his achievements, no matter how small they may be....and I can see that my son is building confidence and feeling good about himself. You can't ask for more that that! In addition, Jordan is very accommodating to schedules...he is always willing to move things around to fit a lesson into our schedule, which is always crazy since we have 3 small kids. A++++"
