I've always had a love for music. When I was 8 years old, I taught myself how to read music before my first piano lesson because I was so excited to learn. I continued taking piano lessons throughout my school days and became involved in choir in high school. When I began college I decided to study business. I auditioned for choir and realized that my dream was to become a music educator. I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. I studied piano, voice, clarinet, and music education. I had a lot of experience playing the piano and singing that I decided to learn the clarinet and join the concert band so I could have band experience. I was also involved in hand bell choir and continued to perform with the choir after I graduated. After graduating, I taught piano at various private elementary schools throughout San Diego. I also had the wonderful experience of being the pianist and vocal soloist at my church. I was a substitute teacher for 8 years and had the opportunity to work with students from preschool to high school and was able to use my knowledge of each age group and school curriculum in teaching music. I had a great experience teaching music and movement for 3 years at a Montessori school from preschool to 3rd grade. Each age group had their own special qualities. Now I'm focusing my attention on private lessons teaching in person and online as well as my own professional development as a musician and an educator. "Great works are performed not by strength, but by perseverance" - Samuel Johnson *** Lesson Details *** Lessons are tailored to each individual student's needs. I think everyone is special and has their own unique way of learning and customized lessons should reflect that. I believe that music theory is important and I include that in lessons. For piano lessons I mainly use Alfred's piano books and Faber Piano Adventures. In each lesson I will demonstrate the necessary skills in order for the students to feel comfortable in taking the music home to practice. For voice lessons I include vocalizations, vocal technique, and song study. I want students to have fun with music. I am very patient and I think it's important to encourage and praise students. I hope to instill the desire to learn in each student. "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." - Eleanor Roosevelt *** Studio Equipment *** Lessons in the living room, piano for piano lessons *** Travel Equipment *** I provide a portable keyboard.

In our lessons, beginning students will learn to read music, play their favorite pieces, how to do warm ups and learn basic skills. I use sheet music and introductory books in my classes and assign homework for their daily practice. After 3 months, each student will move to the next level and continue learning more advanced skills. More advanced students will learn how to understand and compose music, put expression into the pieces they play and improve their current skills.

I am a master teacher focusing on the classical repertoire along with the very strong approache to improvisation. I am really helping each single student to achieve their interests in music rather than focusing on teaching one particular method. I just take a very similar approach to the Suzuki method but instead of teaching out of the method books I teach mixture of exercises and pieces that I believe are more fun and accessible to today student of any age. Classes are tailored to the needs of any particular student and constantly evolving. I am a true believer that this also enchances an understanding and love of classical music. A huge range of students come as beginners and left as a young artists as well as adult students Who came to learn piano and have found that they can perform professionally. And plus have a great deal of Fun! I also guide my students in the curriculum and exams of the Royal Conservatory program. Exams are offered twice a year. Also my students participating in Junior festivals and community recitals. I have also been a judge for Lake Central Junior festival which held in University of central Florida for over 8 years and an assistant for RC exams. Creativity and love of music are the key elements that I encourage in every single student. With my teaching skills and over 20 years of experience I am taking each single student beyond their own expectation while helping them to achieve their own goals. Bio: I am a professional pianist, teacher and composer. Because of my through knowledge and experience with music I can teach all ages and levels an array of important subjects including piano, music theory, , improvisation, composition, music history. My goal with every single student to incorporate all those subjects into my piano lessons so that every student gains a through understanding of music and become a well- rounded musician. I started piano lessons when I was 7 years old and quickly felt in love with the instrument. In spite of studying a very structured program I quickly began to explore my creative side and was always improvising on the piano as well as enjoying playing classical pieces. Throughout my youth I entered and placed in a few competitions. I was also involved with the band chorus, dance and drama and attended lots of concerts, plays, operas, ballets. It gave me a well-rounded artistic upbringing. I Persuaded my passione for music and graduated World renowned Moscow conservatory of music with Master’s degree in piano performance and teaching. My education tought me to understand piano in depth along with music theory and ear training. If you want to sit at the piano and play what you feel or to master every detail of a piece of music so you can express it exactly as composer intended? I can teach you. I completely encourage all ages and backgrounds to explore their musical passion and discover the endless possibilities of Piano!!!

I teach with an emphasis on learning and understanding the chords of music. Usually the lesson books are used for techniques and proper playing, but the real joy comes from playing the music that each student loves. I'm good at finding that music for every student even if I have to write the notes out myself. I want them to play what inspires them and develop a love of music for life.
