I have been playing music since I was 3 years old and have been teaching for the last 5 years. I set up every lesson plan to match what the student would like to learn as well as making sure to meet the parents goals and expectations. I work with all ages and all levels. I also work very well with those that have special needs such as Autism. Every lesson is engaging and exciting, it is never a dull moment.

About April

I picked up music when I was very young and have never looked back. I started with the piano and then moved on to the violin, of which I competed regularly in up until high school. In high school I switched the viola and found it to me even more amazing. During high school I competed again in music

Enjoyed working with Neil. Very professional and I felt very comfortable with his teaching methods. Unfortunately I will not be able to continue my lessons with him in home since I am considered high risk for the virus. I will be canceling the remainder of my in-home lessons and picking them up at a later date

Tony is more than a good musician. Anyone can play chords or build a song (both of which he does excellently), but Tony goes beyond and really listens to you to bring your ideas to life. His encouragement and genuine care for both storytelling and the craft of songwriting make him an exceptional teacher.

Tony is a very talented music producer. Through his explanations of sound design and melodic arrangments he has helped me create dynamic instumentals and unique vocal textures. Would definitely recommend him!

I had been struggling with singing for many years and was about to give up on it altogether, until I met Tony! Working with him has noticeably improved the way I use my voice and I am always excited to learn more from him.

I have been teaching this subject for over 16 years. The main curriculum for beginners is Alfred's Basic Piano Library. There are three beginner levels (beginner, late, adult) and one will be selected after the first meeting. For non-beginning students, the course of study will be developed based on past experience, current abilities, and goals. It is not necessary to know how to read music at the first lesson for beginners. However, learning to read is a part of subsequent lessons. Music is not learned "by ear." A certain amount of theory will be a part of every lesson just as technique and repertoire. Students should come to the first lesson prepared to discuss their background & goals and the plan of their course of study.

"I was a true beginner when I started with Rene, and I feel that I learned and progressed quickly without feeling rushed or pressured. That's the type of atmosphere Rene creates, one that allows for you to push yourself as much as possible because he simplifies what can seem like an intimidating instrument. Awesome teacher and great guy, definitely would recommend him to anyone who wants to learn how to play the piano."

"Justin is a great piano teacher

My 6 year old has piano lessons with Justin. He enjoys his lessons and I'm a proud mother when I listen to him play. My son is a little talker but Justin is always kind, very patient, and uses relatable examples for him to better understand. He encourages which motivates my son to want to practice more. He is also very polite, never without a friendly smile, and without a doubt loves teaching music. I hope Justin continues teaching music by the time my now 1 year old is old enough to take lessons. My family truly appreciates him."

"We signed our 5 year old up for beginning lessons with Ardalan, and he was very engaging and patient with our son. Our son responded well to his method of teaching. We were looking for lessons to encourage his natural interest in piano until he was old enough to take lessons at his school, which is more convenient for us. We very much appreciated Ardalan’s support and enthusiasm he shared with our son."
