PALM BEACH DIOCESE 08/2004 - PRESENT ◼ Art Instructor Deliver the teaching and instruction of art to 160+ students in grades Pre-K-8th grade. Art Instruction ➢ Plan and create engaging curricula in art that caters to the unique talents, needs and multiple intelligences of diverse students. ➢ Incorporate literacy development into all units of instruction, while implementing lessons that are guided by clear objectives that focus on conceptual understanding. ➢ Determine student academic needs and prepare and deliver instructional activities to facilitate an active learning experience. ➢ Organized and initiated an After-School Art Club and instruct once a week. Students learn more in depth art skills including experimenting with other mediums, styles and subject matter. ➢ Developed and direct summer art camps every year for students. ➢ Teach/Taught at St. Ann’s Catholic School (08/15-present); St. Jude Catholic School (08/17-present); St. Mark’s Catholic School ~ Art and Music (08/07-05/11); and St. Josephs Episcopal School ~ Art and Music (08/04-05/07). Events and Exhibits ➢ Organized all aspects of the art students participating in the Lake Worth Street Painting Fest, yearly. Raised money from parents and grandparents to fund spaces for students to paint. Designed our artist's t-shirts for this event. ➢ Obtained the outdoor courtyard restaurant on Palm Beach Island for the school to have their first student's art show, 2018. Designed school invitations and instructed students in their individual artwork to be framed, mounted and sold for the show. Organized volunteers and hanging of the artwork. Sold student artwork to raise money for a kiln for our art room. ➢ Coordinate the Fall, Winter/Christmas, Spring and end-of-year school art shows which coordinate with the holiday concerts. ➢ Enter students into art competitions including filling out applications, as well as mounting and matting and submitting art work. Shows include South Florida Fair Art Competition; State Capitol Student Art Competition; and the Essay and Creative Arts Competition by the Palm Beach Fellowship of Christians & Jews. Art Instruction ➢ Teach classes in areas including freestyle painting (all mediums, all levels and all styles), children’s after-school art (basics of color theory, perspective and dimension, composition, drawing and painting skills, ages 6-18), and holiday and summer art camps focused on introducing the basics of color theory, perspective and dimension, composition, drawing, and painting skills, as well as crafts and sculpture. ➢ Manage the design, organization and implementation of art course outlines, while continuously identifying and employing new methods to teach diverse age groups in various art mediums and materials. ➢ Develop, implement and evaluate age-appropriate programs, classes, services and events related to the visual arts program area. ➢ Provide instruction in the development of aesthetic concepts, art appreciation and the ability to determine interpretive judgments about art. ➢ Conduct painting workshops for groups. ➢ Organize and design course outlines for painting workshops in select locations, nationally and internationally

Feb, 1991The purpose of the Associated Music Teachers League, Inc. is to advance, through music, cultural education, physical and mental development, and artistic achievement amongst the general public and to increase public awareness of the ability of music to communicate beyond ideological, cultural, and geographical boundaries. In furtherance of this purpose, the AMTL will promote and foster the study of classical music by presenting public concerts and lectures, providing performance and scholarship opportunities for young musicians, including competitive and non-competitive events, and promoting high artistic, pedagogical, and ethical standards in the study of music.
