Hi there! My name is Suzanne and I've been a professional editorial and commercial photographer for 17 years. I learned from some of the best photojournalists in the world, and I'd like to pass that along to others - because I became one myself! (Chicago Tribune, Sun Times, NPR, Northwestern University, University of Washington). I always knew I had a good eye, but when it came to the technical aspects of photography - I was overwhelmed. Much of photography is knowing how to use light, color, and moment together and you CAN do all of this on a phone. But great photography also means knowing how to use your camera properly. I figured out how to make it easy to get yourself out of the "auto" mode while skipping many of those things a manual overwhelms you with. I teach you what to really consider when you are shooting landscapes, portraits, events, sports or nature. And if you do just prefer to use a phone, I can teach you how to make your images stand out through all of the noise on social media or I can just help you make them great enough to frame on your wall.
