I am a photographer, multimedia artist, educator, author and speaker. My work combines aspects of art, education and social awareness as a means of personal and professional growth. My photographs have been celebrated in gallery exhibitions and national magazines including Cosmopolitan, Time, Brides and Mademoiselle, and used by major corporations including Google, Club Med, Microsoft, AT&T, Marriott, Braun and Seagrams, to name a few. I am the founder and director of the Center for Creative Development, a nonprofit organization that is home to several youth empowerment programs including “I Matter” and Just Like Me. I am also the founder of the Stepping Stone Gallery for Contemporary Photography and Art That Matters, an artist community and gallery in New York. I am the author of Shooting From The Heart: Creating Passion and Purpose in Your Life and Work. My projects, courses and lectures are offered at universities, museums, art institutes and corporations, focusing on creativity, personal and professional development, and transformative education. I hold a BS in Photography from Rochester Institute of Photography and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College.
