Hi! I'm Ran. Above all, I'm a photographer. Throughout my childhood I was always a curious kid. I tried pretty much everything - Guitar, Judo, Table Tennis, Juggling, Sketching... you name it. When I was 18 I got my first camera and I fell in love. Photography is the only thing that stuck. Being able to share my perspective on the world through the lens, became my biggest passion. As a technical but also creative person, I was fascinated by photography, which combines both aspects of my life in such a unique way. About the same time, I started scuba diving, but it took me several years to combine the two and take my camera underwater. I haven't stopped since :) About 4 years ago I started working with my brother at Mozaik Underwater Cameras, one of the top retailers in North America for UW photo gear. Through my work at Mozaik, I've helped thousands of divers around the world in choosing they're gear, setting it up and making the most out of it. I've personally tested dozens of different systems, ranging from compact, to mirrorless and high end DSLR's and I am familiar with pretty much every type of camera, housing and light in the market. 3 years ago, along with my wife Danielle (the best scuba instructor in the world), we founded "Dive and More" - a dive travel company that specializes in underwater photography workshops and unique diving adventures around the world. Since then I've been leading underwater photography workshops around the world and helping divers become more familiar with their gear and make the most out of it. Honestly, there is nothing in the world I'd rather do :)
