My name is Nikki and I am 26 years old from Los Angeles. I grew up in South Orange County and then moved to Savannah, Georgia. I studied fashion design at Savannah College of Art and Design and received a scholarship to play on their women's golf team (we were #1 in the country in the NAIA). I went pro in 2012 and participated in Q school and played on the Sun Coast Tour.
I love working with kids. I have worked in many kids camps including SCAD Art Smarts summer camp, vacation bible school, The First Tee of Savannah. I have been babysitting for many years now. I am a responsible, independent, hard working young adult with strong values and morals. My career is in the arts, specifically in fashion design, but I love drawing and painting and pretty much anything else that is artsy and crafty. I can knit, crochet, weave, and sew.
I was a Team Captain for the Savannah chapter of the PGA Junior Golf League. Myself along with two other adult captains coached our kinds golf team once a week at practice and once a week for team competition against other teams in out league. The children on our team range from age 8 to age 13. We lead our all-stars all the way to Columbia, South Carolina to play the other all-stars of the South Eastern region.+ Read More
I was an Assistant Coach for The First Tee of Savannah where I primarily taught inner city children the rules and skills for the game of golf. I was in charge of my own classes three days a week. The children in my classes ranged between age 5 to age 16 in both genders.+ Read More
I was a Counsler at the SCAD Art Smarts Summer Camp where I helped assist teachers in teaching the children in various mediums of art including, fashion design, visual art, photoshop, and costume design. The children ranged from ages 5 to 13.
On the first lesson Nikki related to my sixteen-year-old very well, and she dove right in to teaching fashion illustration. My daughter has had other art instructors from other schools - little of whom accomplished as much as Nikki in the first lesson. She gave necessary information ahead of class and was prepared with samples and work to be completed in class. It is wonderful when a student is happy she gets homework too! We are looking forward to many more lessons with Nikki.+ Read More
