I teach now in my home, a one on one lesson where I teach everything the student needs to know to paint whatever they choose to from that point on. Tricks and tips that I have learned from many artists/instructors over the years. Every student I have had leaves so excited knowing that they can paint whatever their heart desires and if they get stuck for some reason, I am only a phone call away. I have been painting for many years and have sold in beautiful galleries. I currently am only in a gallery in Fort Worth that I believe is the nicest western gallery in Texas. I used to paint Longhorns and they love them... I now paint kids, dogs or whatever I feel like it... all realism which is my style.

I started painting in Genesis Heat Set Paints when I was introduced to them when I lived on Kauai in Hawaii. I immediately fell in-love with them. They are as different from oils and acrylics as oils and acrylics are different. Non-toxic paints that are heaven to work with. I started painting portraits as that is what I was trained to do but with drawing attending Santa Barbara Art Institute for a year when I was in my 20's. When introduced to the paints, I wanted to paint portraits then too. I have evolved painting all sorts of things, loving painting little kids the most. I started teaching or introducing students I had on Kauai to the Genesis and everyone loves them I have taught privately when I moved to Texas and here in my studio in Summerville. Everyone leaves excited and everyone wants the paints, which I happen to sell. The inventor is a friend of mine and I was able to get them cheaper than you can buy online - only place is Jerry's Artarama.
