I am both self-taught and studied again at various art schools, including the Art Students League of NY, Rhode Island School of Design, and the School of Visual Arts in NYC. I will be receiving my BFA from SVA in mid-2020.

I can help you understand Drawing and Painting inside and out. I can help you understand the key fundamental elements of art that will allow you to make the best works at the very best of your ability. Those fundamental elements of art include color theory, anatomy, perspective, and composition. I even wrote an article about color theory for a street art magazine (Look up "Color Theory" at Up Mag).

I can help you learn how to choose colors for the right situations and contexts. Color is a very complex endeavor, but if you learn it with me you will get to know and see color through experience of using the right colors, and the experience will feed into your perception of choosing the right colors, which will then enhance your experience of using colors, and so on.

I come from a Fine Arts background, but my work is mostly figurative, and I also have a knack for digital art as well.

Most importantly, I will help you get inspired by helping you make great works. Art is a process of life-long learning, and I hope you will join me on this journey.

Hello! I am very enthusiastic about learning and teaching art. I came to USA from South Korea when I was a kid and wanted to study math and science! But, finding out that I was terrible in those two subjects, I felt unhappy and lost. Art was my way to stand out from the crowd, and it rescued me from mediocrity and failure. 

I've been taking art classes since high school, when I received the National Scholastic Gold Medal in Drawing, and I have been trying to study it in earnest since 2010, to become a professional artist! I hope you will take interest in my lessons and share my enthusiasm for art as a life long learning and creative endeavor!
