I am an independent artist with painting experience of 7 years.  My classes have a special focus on watercolor and oil painting.  Watercolor classes include details regarding composition, balance, color palettes, and subject focus.  Oil painting classes cover technical aspects (such as appropriate solvents, mediums, and thinning agents) and composition details of landscapes, clouds, water, and still life.  With my classes you'll be able to make confident independent choices in creating interest in your paintings, selecting appropriate paints for your works, and composing balanced images to add to your portfolio.

I am an independent illustrator and painter who focuses primarily on landscapes, clouds, urban fantasy, high fantasy, and sci-fi dystopias.  

Much of my inspiration is derived from 80's films and cartoons, fantasy & sci-fi novels, and any/all musical genres (contemporary classical, 80's synthwave, classic rock, lo-fi hip-hop etc.).  I strive to encorporate many of the conjured images from these inspirations into my work.  

As an independent, I find a lot of freedom in being able to create my own original content and hope to help others do the same!  I hope to help others feel from art in the same way we can be moved to feel by cinema, literature, and music.  With this, I intend to bring confidence to others who would like to do the same.

Cassie was great to helping me develop my own works without taking control of my work.  The plans for her lessons helped me to understand my own ideas and how to do them with my own style.  Very interesting teaching style that I liked.

Personable, detail oriented, focused, and knowledgeable.  Seems to have a grasp of advanced skills in the subject.  Is able to provide constructive and relevant advice for beginning a piece all the way through finishing the piece.  Works quickly and helps encourage time-management skills within the project.
