Drawing with Alexis Y.

I studied Fine Arts at the California College of the Arts and graduated in 2008. I started teaching after school art classes to local and international students in 2006. Currently, I'm also an ESL instructor and work directly with children over seas. Just for fun, I incorporate drawing into almost all of my ESL lessons. The one on one format is excellent because it makes it easy to mold the classroom to the student, as opposed to the other way around. Maybe you dread drawing hands and feet and could use some support on that area, or maybe your child is young and is especially interested in drawing ocean wildlife, I can easily adapt the classroom to either of these situations. I also have a standard intro-to-drawing curriculum to recommend for more general interest. In addition to the arts, I appreciate nature, animals, and good comedy. I also have a geeky side and like comic books and fantasy stuff.
