I am a professional singer-songwriter, living in Nashville, TN, with a degree in Music Business from MTSU. I have been a touring artist for 10 years and have a passion for not only the craft of singing and songwriting, but for finding the uniqueness in others and helping them shine! In addition to writing and performing, I am currently the Youth Music Director for a church in Nashville, TN, and lead worship. I teach students of all ages, with a wide range of experience levels from total beginner, to professionals needing studio prep, tour vocal support and maintenance coaching. 

Students can expect to learn approachable, applicable techniques for healthy singing, developing and strengthening their voice, in a fun, down to earth setting.  I believe no matter what level you're starting from, you can learn the tools to gain the confidence to accomplish your singing goals, with your given talents. Each lesson will be tailored to each students level, addressing both the actual skills involved with singing, as well as getting comfortable expressing themselves and working past what might be holding them back from finding their personal voice. 

As a songwriter, I can also offer one on one mentorship and lessons geared toward honing your craft, and working on your original music. 

Whether it's singing for the very first time, getting to a place where you can impress your friends at karaoke, or strengthening your personal singing style in a healthy, sustainable way, I am excited to join you on your journey!

In this class, you will learn a few small changes that can help take your hook to the next level. We will talk about both melodic and lyrical hooks, and how to test the hooks you already have to see if and where they need improvement. This lesson is for intermediate to advanced songwriters.

Just had my first lesson with Moriah! It was such an amazing experience. I  love how she took the time to get to know me, my goals and discuss an action plan of what lessons will look like. Thanks Moriah . I have been writing contemporary christian, gospel and kids  songs for five years, I needed some help improving my lyric writing and song structure getting my songs from good songs to great songs in today's styles.   I hate to say this because she has been so patient and so good I fear she  might get over booked now. I think she deserves the compliment . I have worked with many others and so far I think she is the best. She has helped me take one of my song  to the next level I am hopeful to get pitched to a ccm artist.  I plan on staying with her. I think she really knows her stuff.

Moriah is an amazing vocal instructor! She is so kind and focused on making sure you progress, whatever level you're at. She has given me wonderful tips and really helped me improve my technique. She really knows her stuff!

Moriah is so great to work with and an excellent teacher/ vocal coach.  My technique, tone, and control have improved a lot in a short amount of time.  Also if you want to learn harmony she's the best you're gonna find.  5 stars bc they don't have 6 for an option.
