My specialty as a professional voice teacher is Contemporary Commercial Music [CCM] covering Pop, Country, Hip/Hop, Folk, Rock, R&B, Soul, Gospel, EDM and others. My background in choral singing and bel canto vocal training allows me to assist singers who perform diverse musical genres with authenticity. Additionally, I am cross-trained in dance, yoga, Tai Chi, commercial & improvisational acting.

EXPERIENCE: 27 years voice teaching; 12 years living & working in Los Angeles; a lifetime of performing on-stage; BACKGROUND: 12 years of private vocal studies with master teachers of bel canto & contemporary singing techniques. I destroyed my voice thru overwork and lack of technique and my vocal studies continue to include vocal recovery.

I work with all levels of singers, from those who never want to be on stage to those who need healthy vocal techniques to support recording & touring.

I help singers develop powerful, authentic voices. I use multifaceted exercises to help you find and feel the difference in sound immediately, and we follow-up by with learning daily exercise protocols that help develop the muscular structure to create an easily sustainable vocal resonance.

Great instruction, gave really relevant and understandable feedback, along with things to work on for next session. Made a challenging process much more manageable.

She's great!!! First of all, the interaction was very comfortable. She listened to what I'm trying to do, gave me some lessons on how the voice really works, had me do a warm up, and then listened to me sing a verse and chorus of a song I've sang for 30 years. She pointed out three things - two bad habits, and something to work on/practice. The change from those three things is kinda amazing! It's helped me go back and work out sore spots on songs on my list, and be able to tackle songs on the wish list! So many new questions! VERY excited about the next steps!!!
