My specialty as a professional voice teacher is Contemporary Commercial Music [CCM] covering Pop, Country, Hip/Hop, Folk, Rock, R&B, Soul, Gospel, EDM and others. My background in choral singing and bel canto vocal training allows me to assist singers who perform diverse musical genres with authenticity. Additionally, I am cross-trained in dance, yoga, Tai Chi, commercial & improvisational acting.

EXPERIENCE: 27 years voice teaching; 12 years living & working in Los Angeles; a lifetime of performing on-stage; BACKGROUND: 12 years of private vocal studies with master teachers of bel canto & contemporary singing techniques. I destroyed my voice thru overwork and lack of technique and my vocal studies continue to include vocal recovery.

I work with all levels of singers, from those who never want to be on stage to those who need healthy vocal techniques to support recording & touring.

Can't sing all the notes in your song? It might not be you, it may be that the song needs to be transposed into your vocal range. Learn how to move a song to fit right where you need it and to stop forcing your voice to sing a song outside it's range. Make the song come to your voice and learn how to place the song in the key that's best for your voice, not someone else's!

Please come prepared with a verse and chorus of a song that you'd like help putting into the key that shows off your voice the best.

This is an Intermediate Level Voice Class. Prerequisites: familiarity with breath support; ability to match pitch and knowledge of phrasing.

My singing lessons focus of learning how to select songs for your voice and transpose them into the key best suited for your vocal range to help you sing with more ease, making your voice - POP!

I help singers develop powerful, authentic voices. If you want to sing with more ease and freedom, deepen your understanding of your vocal instrument and learn tools to help you become more confident performing in public whether it be singing or speaking, THIS is for you! Optimize your voice by understanding how it works.

I use multifaceted exercises to help you find and feel the difference in sound immediately, and we follow-up by with learning daily exercise protocols that help develop the muscular structure to create an easily sustainable vocal resonance.

Great instruction, gave really relevant and understandable feedback, along with things to work on for next session. Made a challenging process much more manageable.

She's great!!! First of all, the interaction was very comfortable. She listened to what I'm trying to do, gave me some lessons on how the voice really works, had me do a warm up, and then listened to me sing a verse and chorus of a song I've sang for 30 years. She pointed out three things - two bad habits, and something to work on/practice. The change from those three things is kinda amazing! It's helped me go back and work out sore spots on songs on my list, and be able to tackle songs on the wish list! So many new questions! VERY excited about the next steps!!!
