In a class of about 20 students I was to assist the instructor in helping grade students based on beginner piano. Graded subjects included, site reading, technique, music comprehension, and posture. I would also help out during study periods assisting students who struggled in the class giving more private attention to them so they could succeed!

I first started learning guitar at an early age. With the crazed boom of the video game Guitar Hero coming out I was determined to learn to play a real guitar. I studied guitar privately with instructors over the course of several years. Gaining a wide range of techniques, and approaches to the instrument. So pick up your guitar and let's start learning!

I love working with Austin. He is very patient and just has an amazing personality all around. He has been beyond helpful. 

Mr. Austin is amazing! He teaches my 3 kids, and I can't recommend him enough. He has made virtual piano lessons very easy for us and our busy schedules. He is very knowledgeable and accommodating. He meets the kids where they are and adjusts according to their needs. All of my kids are now playing at different levels, but all are playing several songs after just a year of piano lessons with Mr. Austin. I feel really lucky to have ended up taking my first piano lessons with Austin. As an adult, learning has brought a new challenge and sense of humility that has been very rewarding because of Austin’s support and teaching style. He breaks things down in layman’s terms, is super knowledgable, but also very personable. He also has the technology in place to make the lesson barely feel remote. He wants his students to get the most out of their lessons and is great at catering to each student’s needs, whether it be understanding or inspiration.
