Anthony G. Pico Rivera, CA

About Anthony

As a third generation musician, I've been playing professionally and teaching for over 25 years. I've had years of private lessons, graduated from GIT in Hollywood, taken college music courses and continue to perform, record, and teach music. YOU can have fun, learning songs that YOU like, or you can learn music theory (the explanation of music) or study different styles from rock to pop to hard core to blues, funk etc. All at YOUR pace. Many of my students, started from the point where they had never picked up an instrument and have gone on to tour or earn full music scholarships. It doesn't matter if it's a young girl wanting to learn some Disney Artist or some burly blue collar worker wanting to learn some Clapton: YOU can have fun learning guitar while improving at a rapid rate.

Best Guitar Teacher!

I am 20, and I have been taking lessons with tony for almost 4 month. He really is a great teacher. He really makes guitar easy to learn and always give you confidence about learning new things. He is cool and nice, able to get you through all kinds of difficulties of learning guitar. Give hime a shot, if you really want to play guitar. He is better than any Youtube or on-line stuff.
Alfredo S. Temple City, CA

About Alfredo

Hi! My name is Al! I've been playing drums for about 11 years now, I started playing at the age of 12 when my parents bought me my first drum set. Since then drumming has been my life, everything from playing in numerous bands, drum competitions, private teaching, and National US Tours. Leaving my home town of Brownsville, TX behind, I moved out to L.A Summer of 2008 to attend the Los Angeles Music Academy, where I received my Associates Degree in Music Performance. I currently teach private lessons and I gig around town with various artists. I have lots of musical knowledge that Iv'e obtained by studying with LA's Top Drummers. I'd love to pass down my knowledge only to benefit you in your drum learning experience. If you're just a beginner, only want to take lessons for fun, or more ...

Really enjoy the lessons. Makes learning the fundamentals fun. Very patient and enthusiastic. Also, he's making learning how to read music fun, which in the past I've hated learning about, but am now enjoying. He's very encouraging.

He was very kind and patient with my Trinity. The lessons was supposed to be for my 6 yr old, but it didn't work out, it seem to Alfredo bother him he just offered to teach my other daughter instead, great way to "roll with the punches".

Amazing singng instructor

Crystal has increased my daughter’s self-esteem and expressiveness through song. My daughter is now writing her own poetry and song lyrics, as well as being able to combat her once shyness quality. She loves to perform in front of others now and has a confidence level that amazes me, especially now that she is going into those “teen” years. I think a lot of thanks needs to go to Crystal, for assisting my daughter in reaching her current creative level!

Great piano instructor

Crystal is an amazing piano instructor. She is patient, understanding and dedicated. My daughter has learned so much from her. My daughter’s love for music has increased immensely since learning how to play the piano. This would never have been able to be accomplished without Crystal’s professional and caring teaching style.

Wonderful person and excellent instruction

I have been taking lessons from Crystal for a few months now. I took lessons from others before I moved to the area, and I have had multiple new breakthroughs with Crystal. She is great at finding the language that allows me to understand adjustments, and is very patient and understanding. I was at ease from the first moment I met her. I highly recommend her to other adults looking to get into singing of any kind!

Dr. Norman L. teaches via skype, he is in LA and my son is on the east coast. I choose Norman as a teacher for my son due to his experience and credentials. He is both an educator and a musician. Norman received 5 stars due to his personality, knowledge and teaching methods. My son enjoys his lesson because the teacher adapts his teaching style to accommodate my son's current string bass skill level, playing ability and his learning style. Alex recommends Dr. Norman L. for a teacher for any string bass player.

I am not a bass player, but I am composing for the double bass. And so Dr. Norman's expertise in both the bass and composition makes him uniquely qualified for my purposes. He certainly knows both musical endeavors extremely well. I am particularly pleased with his enthusiasm and interest, and his willingness to follow the lesson with additional resources he sends me. In addition, he is a good guy and easy to make friends with.

I have taken private lessons with multiple instructors throughout my life. Adrianne has by far been the best instructor I ever had. She was very patient and had very creative and effective approaches to explaining difficult techniques.
She helped me improve a lot in a short period of time and pointed out many mistakes and bad habits that none of my other teachers had ever noticed.
She is great!

I started taken violin lessons with Adrianne as a refresher and a supplement to my chamber ensemble class. Having not really taken one-on-one lessons in a long time, there were a few bad habits that I formed that Adrianne was easily able to notice and give helpful advice. She was always a patient and very attentive listener. Almost immediately I could tell there was a difference in my sound production and bowing techniques from her practice tips. Definitely worth investing in her lessons!
