About Andrew

Andrew started playing piano at the tender age of 3. His mom wanted him to spend his endless energy on something artistic so she started him on piano lessons. Very early on it was clear Andrew had a natural, unique ability to connect with the piano. He played in school bands throughout grade school

I teach students of all abilities to play and love the violin.

Evan's a fantastic teacher and I can't recommend him enough. I was a professionally trained pianist who was also badly taught some violin on the side and although I've been out of practice for years, Evan has gotten me back up to speed with my musical abilities in such a short amount of time. I've cycled through a number of music instructors in the past and Evan is the most patient teacher I've ever had. I get easily frustrated and he helps me work through the areas I get stuck on regardless of how many tries it takes. It's very apparent through his teaching that appreciation of the music is a priority. He's also flexible about rescheduling and cancellations, and I've enjoyed my lessons so much that finding the personal motivation to stay on top of my progress is never an issue when something comes up and a class has to be cancelled or postponed. Evan is both a superb musician and instructor and given a lot of my bad experiences in the music sphere in the past, he's done an amazing job of helping restore my appreciation and love for the art.

Evan is a very gifted teacher. Since I started beginner lessons with him a few months ago, he has been able to teach me the complex techniques required for proper playing quickly and effectively while advancing my knowledge of music theory with his calm and encouraging teaching methods. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in lessons!
Eric
All-around wonderful violin teacher! Evan has always been encouraging (and patient!) and made every lesson an enjoyable experience. I've decided to pick up the violin after a very long hiatus and at almost 30 years old - Evan provided a great game plan for me to begin reading music again as well as valuable exercises to improve my form. I'm looking forward to keeping up my violin studies with Evan and know that I've enjoyed my time (and improved my playing ability!) because of his instruction and guidance. I'd highly recommend Evan to any player - young or old - looking to pick up violin for the first time or to further hone their musical abilities.

Just had my first lesson with Billy and it was fantastic! He created the perfect balance of learning something enjoyable that I would be excited to go home and practice along with things that I had skipped over and knew I needed to re-visit in order to improve. I was impressed with his ability to quickly gauge my skill level and prior music knowledge so it didn’t feel mundane but challenged me just the perfect amount. Excited for our next lesson already!

Billy helped me understand what i wanted out of music and tailored the lesson to do just that...started w the basics but then let me direct whete i wanted to take my playing...easy going and made it so much fun....i would recommend him to anyone at the beginner/intermediate level, as he is adept at getting to know who u are as a player and goes at the appropriate pace....great teacher!

"Great piano instructor

Crystal is an amazing piano instructor. She is patient, understanding and dedicated. My daughter has learned so much from her. My daughter’s love for music has increased immensely since learning how to play the piano. This would never have been able to be accomplished without Crystal’s professional and caring teaching style."

"I would recommend Albert for anyone looking to give guitar a try. I am 40 and had ZERO musical background, and always wanted to play guitar. I was attracted to the way a guitar would light up a room. Albert is the perfect guide to help unlock the mysteries of the guitar. Albert has created an extremely positive learning environment for me both during a lesson and at home. I feel like I take home another piece of the puzzle after each lesson.

Albert as a teacher.
The most notable quality to me is that he truly wants to see you learn guitar and enjoy playing. His attention to detail is great and is completely engaged in the lesson. He introduces music theory in just the right dose, and then shows you how it applies to what and how you are playing. He makes theory fun leaving you excited to unlock the next level. His depth of music knowledge is impressive, and an incredible asset for his students. Albert has a bright positive energy and I always look forward to my lessons with him. Alberts house is at the end of a quiet road across from the water and a marina. His Jam space is very Zen and his lovely wife is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Good vibes for sure. Sometimes I feel like I just left a yoga class lol. Albert is flexible with lesson times and very accommadating. I play the guitar every day and enjoy every moment of it. I have two guitars now (acoustic and electric) I am having fun learning and look forward to my next lesson. If your looking for a guitar guru Albert is a home run!"

"Dani is really the best instructor ever. When I started taking lessons with her my goal was to prepare for a college audition. Immediately she helped me identify where I could improve my technique and offered a variety of exercises that suited me best. She is familiar with tons of classical repertoire as well as jazz and popular songs. I really enjoyed that she made my lessons challenging enough to help me grow musically, but always working on something within my reach. She also has many incredibly useful performance hacks to help get out the best of you when its time to be on stage. I am happy to say that all the time and our hard work was well spent. After I auditioned for the college I wanted I received not only the acceptance letter, but also a near full tuition musical merit based scholarship. Thank you so much Dani!"
