As a musician, I am also a freelance artist an I have my own painting studio and gallery as well. I love to travel and teach so this is why I would love to teach online.
I believe that no matter music or art, they are all medium to nuture your own creativity and make you feel more alive.
I always encourage my students to be imaginative when it comes to interpret music. I believe one can play well have to learn how to appreciate music first.
Only with the students' own internalization of the music, the music can be alive.
To play music well means one has to understand the song from all different perspectives, not only the techniques but also the learn the musical themes that the composer intended to express.
And the most interesting part comes to the performer add his/her own touch and imagination, preference to the original piece.
I would love to share the joy of playing music with my students.
I will teach my students the lessons of techniques and expressions separately ...

Piano is the general instruction of the instrument. I have taught lessons for over 23 years where I have been traveling to the homes.
The students learn not only the general concepts but they also learn Theory which is the understanding of what lies underneath the music itself.
I have an easy going personality with the students learning how to play the piano, but I also want the students to work to their full potential.
The students learn not only the basics of the piano itself, but they also play fun songs, such as popular songs that they know.
I am a graduate of Northern IL University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. I have 22 years of teaching experience where I have traveled to the homes. Students enjoy my passion that I have with the instrument. I started teaching in 1991 and have been teaching several students since

I am trained in Russian technique using relaxation movements that prevent painful cramps in wrist and forearm. I have been teaching primarily children from age 4 in music schools and homes since 1987. I like to motivate them by letting them choose their favorites, like songs from Disney movies or some other popular songs. I am very patient and encouraging. I am happy when I see love for music growing in hearts of students.
I attended six years at State Conservatory and graduated with Magister degree from Comenius University in former Czechoslovakia. I performed during my college years with a chamber vocal-instrumental ensemble. I started teaching piano and music theory in 1987 at a music school and later I was givin

For beginning piano students, I use Marilyn Lowe's Music Moves for Piano series. If a student already has purchased piano books or has piano books from an older sibling, I would not ask the student to purchase more books until we had used what they already had to its full capacity. For adults and older beginners, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level.
I'm a passionate, motivated instructor who loves working with students of all ages. In 2003, I graduated from Bryan College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education with a vocal emphasis and in 2011, I graduated from James Madison University with a Masters of Arts degree in Music Educat
She practices using the Alexander Method. Her expertise in how the body affects the voice actually gave me a ton of useful information to successfully identify the cause of some chronic health/pain issues (although she never offers medical advice, I was able to integrate her feedback about what was affecting the quality of my voice into medical care with my Drs).

Hey there explorer!
So you thought the violin is only meant to play Classical music? Think again!
With over 13 years of experience in improvisation in many different musical styles on the violin, I will show you the methods to explore and teach yourself any type of musical style you'd wish to play!
Although being mainly a Jazz violinist, I have performed and recorded in many different musical genres and improvisation styles including Blues, Trad Jazz, Rock, Indian Classical music, Bluegrass, Jewish Klezmer music and more. Since students spend most of their crucial development time individually in the practice room, as a teacher my biggest ambition is to teach my students 'how to be your own teacher' (I know it's kinda shooting myself in the foot :] ). Based on my 20 years experience playing the violin and other instruments, my training in Alexander technique, teaching artistry, psychology, philosophy and meditation, I've accumulated a set of methods and ideas about how to ...
An award-winning Jazz violinist and a graduate of The Newschool of Jazz, I would love to offer you my unique approach to learning this incredible and versatile instrument. Through ear training and improvisation we will learn how to master the instrument whether you're interested in playing classica

So you want to be a session guitarist? Maybe you’re wanting to make a few extra bucks. Maybe you want this as a career? I will share with you what I think of as a basic session guitarist survival guide. A disclaimer… I don’t do much session work anymore. I am using my time to write and record my own music. However, I have learned a lot, and what works fo …

It’s hard to imagine a world without music. Our favorite songs lift us up and help us better understand love, loss, and life. Although most people feel strongly connected to music in some way, not everyone knows that music can be used to heal. From the very first tune ever hummed, music has brought increased physical and mental wellbeing to musicians and listeners alike. Music therapy is the modern world’s application of this ancient wisdom, using evidence-based musical interventions to e …
