Best known in the UK for a starring role in a hospital soap, my career has ranged from straight drama to sit-com, theatrical comedy to Shakespeare and the classics, musical theatre to audiobook narration and voiceover.

I particularly relish helping launch young actors' careers but, whatever your age or ambition, I feel confident I can make a difference in spurring you on to achieve your goals and I promise you, we'll make it fun!

I am a professional actor located in the new York city area. I received my musical theater degree from Lees-McRae College and have taken any and every opportunity to learn more in my field. I trained Stella Adler School of Acting to freshen up and sharpen my skills during quarantine.
I have taken a variety of master classes as well as attended theatre conferences across the world.
I would love to help others create art through the wonderful experience of acting.
I love helping others break down their monologues and scripts, helping them find a deeper meaning in material and various ways to portray it. I have a lot of material to hand out if someone does not have any monologues to work on. I also work on Improv, scene work, mime, and auditioning skills!
Please reach out to me for any questions, I would love to work with you!

Molly is an amazing teacher, overflowing with enthusiasm and encouragement. I'm an amateur singer, and just wanted to take lessons to improve my singing a little bit so I could be better at musical improv. She helped reconnect me with my love of singing, and now I want more.

I began acting in community theatre when I was seventeen years old. It is something that I am absolutely passionate about. I have been fortunate enough to play some of the characters that I love; Nellie Forbush in "South Pacific"; Anita in "West Side Story"; Eliza Dolittle in "My Fair Lady" and Guinevere in "Camelot," to name a few. I have also been in two independent films.

I will be teaching two group lessons, one on Monday nights from 6:00-7:00 pm and one on Tuesday nights 7:00-8:00 pm. Monday nights will be for children and Tuesday nights for adults. I will be welcoming up to five students in each class. During my classes we will learn different acting techniques, among them improv and Stanislavski's Method.

My 30+ years of experience in community theatre and what I have learned from teachers and other actors is what I look forward to passing on to those who are as passionate about acting as I am.

About Tina

A recent transplant from Los Angeles, California; I have been singing professionally for more than forty years as well as having leading roles in local theatre productions. I have also been assistant director, musical director, choreographer, costumer and writer for many productions from West Side

I've taken her class for over a few years now and I can't even describe how much I have grown because of her. I first was very mousy and quiet but I am now achieving and wanting to tackle songs I never thought I could because of her. I recommend her to everyone I know. In all seriousness people around me have noticed a huge change and there may be days where I don't notice it until she asks if I caught that I was able to hit it.

I love Miss Tina, She is the best singing instructor ever! She always knew the best songs for me. Hands down the best person and teacher. She has helped me over come so much with her help. She inspired me so much and has helped me evolve with my singing.

Dennis has been a mentor and friend now for nearly 20 years. He is a knowledgeable and passionate advocate for the arts who gives his all to each student. Working with him is always challenging and fun.

Dennis Johnson is extremely passionate and knowledgable about every topic relating to acting and voiceovers. His classes are friendly, warm, funny, inviting and are always very positive. Although his classes may be challenging, he focusses on preparing his students for the real world and is passionate about putting his student's best foot forward. A few things he covers in classes are improvisation, analyzing monologues and analyzing film. He is reliable and flexible with busy schedules and makes an effort to teach life lessons as well. I feel extremely lucky to have found him and to have access to his classes and film and voice over editing skills. He is a gem.
Christine
Working with Dennis has been incredibly beneficial to my growth as an actor. His ability to dissect a scene, work through the nuances of the character, and the sub-text and communicate this on camera with techniques that set you above the amateur actor, has helped me tremendously and opened up not only opportunities but my confidence as well. Dennis approaches the actor as a whole and understands there are parts to this whole and each part—the body, the speech, the mind—is just as important as the next. I wouldn't be the actor I am today if it weren't for Dennis.

"I needed some guidance for a play, the role was challenging and complex and I grappled with the characters underlying philosophies. Plus she was a lot older than I actually am!!! Andrew was incredibly patient and insightful. He gave me some exercises to try and get ‘in tune’ with the role and clarified all my anxieties.....wonderful experience. I’d recommend him highly and will certainly be back."

Even if you're a natural performer who can cry on command and memorize lines, you'll need to learn the following fundamental drama techniques to really master the art of acting. 1. Vocal Dynamics Your lines are just words until you deliver them, but unless your voice is well-trained, they'll still fall flat or sound forced. In order to accurately port …

Top 5 Wildest Method Acting Techniques in Hollywood History

If you've ever watched an actor disappear into their role, shedding genuine tears or adopting mannerisms that aren't their own, then you've seen method acting techniques in action. Most people think of this approach as "becoming a character," and some actors do take that literally, pretending to actually be the person they're playing.  Method acting is taught everywhere from Hollywood to Broadway. But a few notable actors are well-known for taking it to award-winning extremes, making enormous …
